Maw That gorgeous specimen of a warrior should be our pin-up mascot. Do you lot agree?
GrannyGravy and Nannytopsy During a rather long spell of insominia (ages ago) I used Nytol Herbal to get me through. It's worth a try.
Ann is correct in saying that the non-herbal Nytol is more effecient but they left me feeling "spaced-out".
Bordersgirl I should be calorie counting after the excesses of the Heeland vacation...however...melting moments are just too good to leave uneaten. as is Carillion's ^chocolat
Bordersgirl The poor wee love with chickenpox may feel well enough to sample one or two of your melting moments. Best get such illnesses over and done with when one is young and capable of bouncing back without too much ado.
GrannyGravy Those photos - WOW!

I also persuaded some young school mates to hold a handsome boy (Ian) down in the playground so that I could kiss him. I was six. He was seven. He never recovered from the shock.
N&G Our Sam will thank you for a trip to the grooming parlour. Hot weather en route. He'll not need too thick a coat.
Charleyg Dear Tara...she is a wee star. Brodie has another new dish. He visited three times yesterday. He appears to be in very good health. That's what we wish for him.
Nannyfaraway Happy packing and memory-making with family in Swtzerland.
Synonymous Hearty congratulations to you and himself with a twinkle in his eye. It is grand to hear that he is truly on the road to recovery. Never mind the cost of the hotel accommodation. It could be thought of as a special thanksgiving treat. Whenever we have hospital appointments to attend, we always include a special fish and chip lunch as a celebration of our good fortune.
Grey Thank you for a chuckleful post. I love your grandson's remark regarding calling in on the Outer Hebrides en route to Cornwall.
Maw Please read my lips. Stay away from situations in which you may be vulnerable to verbal abuse. That, dear girl, is an order.
Hexham - is it a nice place to retire to - cousin retiring there?
For the non pendants. Just for laughs
