I'm another with a teenage GGD who I want to steer away from those ghastly crop-tops, a shocking " invention " for young girls. My mother would have wrapped it round my neck if I'd appeared in one of those.

I bet she'd like this one and you could get her a year's free next day delivery for £9.99.

Actually, my grandson would probably like that one!

My 12 year old 'cool' (or so he tells me) asked for ASOS vouchers. Their prices are quite low and the clothes 'acceptable' in my view. You buy a voucher on-line and it is delivered on a specified day to the inbox.

What's the name of the trendy shop, which is always kept dark.....you need a torchlight to look at the clothes in there.

My youngest son only wanted clothes from ONE shop for a while.
It was a small shop so not online.

I see a lot of teenagers with Jack Wills tops and hoodies. My DGD is just 19 but loved Jack Wills before she went to uni. No pink or frills there.

Bluebelle Hollister has girls clothes and accessories also. (I have spent so much time in that flipping shop with my D when she was a teenager)

Yes Sara they are good quality and they sell perfumes etc too. Hollister is also for girls.

By the description you give “All Saints” will fit the bill.

bluebelle Hollister sell girls clothes too, at ridiculous prices I think. My GD1 loves H&M and Top Shop and also orders online at BooHoo. Much more reasonable prices.

Thank you for all the great ideas - I have looked at lots and in fact have now bought her cropped black denim jacket - I emailed her Mum who said yes DGD will wear it!
