Feeling very down atm as my daughter is scattering her sibling’s ashes on the Malvern hills this afternoon.
I can’t be there as I am unable to walk any distance.

The plant and bake sale in our wee village raised a further £1,018.31 towards the hall development fund. One day...not sure when...the community will have the hall it richly deserves.

Hair trimmed a wee bit shorter yesterday. Hope that you approve.

One of my favourite things is visiting a butterfly house. Had a quick walk through one today today, this was the only butterfly agreeing to pose .

corner thank you for asking. She has been out since after 8 am so I doubt if I will see her before 7 pm tonight. I would not be surprised if she stays at home tomorrow, especially as I will be at home most of the time. We are returning to the vet early Wednesday pm, no food but she is allowed water. Unfortunately she does not realise she is making it worse for herself by her antics.

Charleyg It's an encouraging sign that Tara wishes to be out and about. I'm so sorry that you have to take her back to the vet on Wednesday. Being a cat she'll know what's on the agenda. Rory put us through some awfully upsetting episodes. The worst being when he refused to go to the vet and she and her helper motored to our home, trapped him in the inner entrance hall and all hell broke loose. She looked dishevelled when she departed. Rory was furious for the rest of the week.

Buggerations galore. I missed the tennis. I'm not a happy bunny. How on earth did I not know. Spitting brass tacks with frustration.

soop I was sorting out the bins after 5 pm today and the minx appeared but sat patiently waiting for me to open the front door for her. No point using the catflap when service is available but such a pity the service is not faster.

She is upstairs resting now having had a nibble.

Galen my heart is in pain for you and your daughter over the scattering of ashes of your eternally beloved child and her dear sibling. So much more difficult when you are not physically able to be there and support each other at such an emotional time.

soop your new hairstyle really suits you and must be so easy to cope with, especially on those days when you're not feeling quite tickety-boo. Why do I get the feeling there are so many difficulties/discomforts you're not telling us?

charleygirl I do hope you get good news about your little one this week. Your accounts of her character and behaviour remind me so much of a beautiful puss I once shared my life with a long time ago.

Glad she’s home safe and sound charley. Hope you get to find out what’s wrong Wednesday. Pets are like young children aren’t they? You know something’s amiss but they can’t tell you. Also like children, cuddles help ?

After I’d posted I realised it was probably a bit random.

Thanks for asking about my throat cornergran I’ve been streaming with a cold today and sneezing like billy-o but just now my husband wondered if it could be hay fever? Gosh, never thought of that! I only get it infrequently if the pollen counts are super high and it only started in my 50’s - hence why it hasn’t crossed my mind. I shall check with Google now to see what the pollen count is.
