Such behaviour doesn’t endear us to our cats, Ann, but as Soop says, it is in their nature. We had three and they were all hunters - the first one would have a go at anything regardless of size. We lived on the edge of a disused airfield and it wasn’t unusual to get the odd baby rabbit proudly deposited in the kitchen - dead fortunately given their condition, but that was upsetting especially for our then young children - and pigeons. She went missing once for about three weeks and then walked back in after we had given up on her, looking sleeker and fitter than when she left! It wasn’t hard to see why! Hopefully a bell will make a difference.
I got a clean bill of health from the dentist, and we have spent the rest of the morning putting all the pots back on our fifty percent larger patio. Of course, they now look a little lost, so I told DH we will have to go out and buy more pots and more plants..... he is sitting with his head in his hands muttering about bankruptcy?! In truth, it will be a work in progress for some time to come, and I’m not in any hurry! I will go and put him out of his misery?. I will look in later.
