Does anyone agree with me that Meghan looks a lot better with her bit of pregnancy weight? Her face has filled out and she looks really healthy and well. Of course she looks so happy with her new baby, but there is a glow about her that we haven't seen before. I hope she doesn't try and slim back into her jeans within a couple of weeks, as most celebrities seem to do.

Totally different thing! Odd how people's minds work.

Anniebach Tue 14-May-19 14:40:12

OurKid I so remember my daughters doing the same, ?

Re announcement or not, I wonder if they caved to family pressure. They might have had all sides personally coming at them and decided to change their minds begrudgingly. I took note of the fact that they didn’t announce that she was in labour until hours after the baby had been born.

So many couples have so much family pressure now and “cave” to stronger wills for family harmony (shame on the elder generation for doing that by the way).

This seemed a very public extension of that.

not a case of the elder generation, just a two way tradition of respect. If they chose to opt out of royal tradition then do so
365 days of the year , buy their own property ,live a private life , if they did I would certaintly respect their decision to keep their lives private .

I don’t really care what professor what’s his pants said. I like to think that people speak and judge as they find Anniebach . Quite telling that out of the many people within the fashion industry involved with Diana and other royals they all said she was lovely and very gracious and always extremely grateful for their hard work . They weren’t quite so glowing about others and the program wasn’t just about Diana it was about the whole royal female line from her maj to the present day . Worth watching if you enjoy fashion . But pointless if you have already made judgement not to believe a word they said.

Anniebach Tue 14-May-19 16:42:45

gilly I do believe what you said they said. All I did was give the name of the chairman of the National AIDS Trust in 1966 who spoke of her treatment of the Trust, why is this wrong ?

gillybob Tue 14-May-19 16:46:18

It isn’t wrong at all but as I said plenty people ( who knew her quite well ) said very nice things about her. They have no reason to lie . That’s it really .

maryeliza54 Tue 14-May-19 16:46:44

And on and on and on and on and on and on

Anniebach Tue 14-May-19 16:48:14

I didn’t say they lied , neither did Professor Michael Adler

maryeliza54 Tue 14-May-19 16:48:18

And you got the date wrong ab and you spell Meghan’s name incorrectly

Anniebach Tue 14-May-19 17:02:21

So you read the Professor’s opinions maryeliza.

Picking on spelling errors is so low

Gonegirl Tue 14-May-19 17:12:03

When you are Welsh you are bound to use the Welsh spelling of a name. Easy mistake.

maryeliza54 Tue 14-May-19 17:19:44

Oh purleeze GG no you are not. How very very silly

Anniebach Tue 14-May-19 17:21:32

Gonegirl yes, and when you have several generations of Megan, email two regularly , thank you . One of my great aunts always referred to .princess Marged ?

Gonegirl Tue 14-May-19 17:21:59

It's a common name in Wales, and most often spelt simply "Megan". And that is the way I would always say it.

So "silly" yourself.

Gonegirl Tue 14-May-19 17:22:28

spell it

Gonegirl Tue 14-May-19 17:23:56

Yep. That's the Welsh version of Margaret. When in Wales.... grin

Gonegirl Tue 14-May-19 17:24:09

Love Wales.

maryeliza54 Tue 14-May-19 17:25:15

I know it’s common name in Wales. I also know that spelling someone’s name correctly is polite but then the bar’s pretty low on this thread isn’t it re common decency.

Bridgeit Tue 14-May-19 17:26:03

Oh Annie can we please stop with all this ‘ Hubble, Bubble , toll & trouble’.
It’s so sad & very unedifying to hear the claws scratching & the tongues wagging especially so when it comes from Grandmothers.

Anniebach Tue 14-May-19 17:29:11

Bridgeit why me alone ? And as for my spelling being corrected, whose claws are out ?

maryeliza54 Tue 14-May-19 17:30:43

Actually Brid it’s incredibly sad and unedifying coming from a Christian. Now I really am off this damn awful thread.

Anniebach Tue 14-May-19 17:32:47

You keep the halo maryeliza, certaintly wouldn’t suit me ?

Bridgeit Tue 14-May-19 17:33:12

Me too Maryeliza , best wishes .

Gonegirl Tue 14-May-19 17:35:07

Ah, go on with yer. Thread's alright.
