Does anyone agree with me that Meghan looks a lot better with her bit of pregnancy weight? Her face has filled out and she looks really healthy and well. Of course she looks so happy with her new baby, but there is a glow about her that we haven't seen before. I hope she doesn't try and slim back into her jeans within a couple of weeks, as most celebrities seem to do.

So saying how thrilled Diana would be is acceptable, saying Diana said a young girl had undergone an abortion is not acceptable, hypocritical surely

Gonegirl Mon 13-May-19 22:20:45

Ok....... not a clue about that one.

Anniebach Mon 13-May-19 22:47:09

It’s true , at a staff Christmas party , she accused Tiggy of having an abortion

Gonegirl Mon 13-May-19 22:50:44

Just read a Wiki article. Quarter of an hour of my life I'll never get back. hmm grin

Gonegirl Mon 13-May-19 22:51:57

Can't blame those boys for their weird mother though can you.

Anniebach Mon 13-May-19 22:53:32

?, Harry took Megan to meet Tiggy, she got into hot water when they were young, absailed with them over a bridge , they loved it

Gonegirl Mon 13-May-19 23:05:58

She (Tiggy Bourke) could smoke fags whilst she was skiing. Respect!

She's got a B and B in Crickhowell now.

Christ inspired words to live by:

Before you talk, listen
Before you act, think
Before you criticise, wait
Before you pray, forgive

Whether you are Christian or not, (and some of you say you are), theses are good words to try to live by.
So much of what has been written in this thread saddens me.

Anniebach Tue 14-May-19 08:36:02

Mapleleaf do you apply those words to politicians ?

Anniebach Tue 14-May-19 08:43:13

Christ criticised the Pharisees

The young royal women wearing high heels probably do so to please the crowds who expect them to look slightly magically unreal. They also wear unreal showy expensive clothing which is the uniform of the Windsors when they are on duty. The queen seems to like plain comfortable country clothes when she is off duty.

Anniebach Tue 14-May-19 10:27:44

Megan being an actress is probably use to a way of dress for cameras

Lily65 Tue 14-May-19 12:47:19

ab, you are way off the mark with your comments about people who are either dead of can't defend themselves.

and as for Christ criticised the Pharisees, words fail me.

maryeliza54 Tue 14-May-19 12:54:20

Lily I think the word you are looking for is hypocrisy

Anniebach Tue 14-May-19 12:58:43

Problem with some here is I am not a hypocrite

So only praise for Megan because she can’t defend herself

Only , aww’s for the dead because they can’t defend themselves

Too sugery

I watched a lovely documentary on Saturday night while DH was out with the DGC. It was about royal fashion . Well I’m no royalist ( understatement of the decade) but I thoroughly enjoyed listening to the various designers talking about their royal clients . Showing footage of the designs and then the actual finished dresses /outfit being worn . Together with a little bit background of the occasion etc. One thing that seemed to stand out is that Diana was a very gracious and grateful client . Always sent personal thank you letters etc. No one said one bad word against her In fact the absolute opposite .

She was stunningly beautiful too. smile

gillybob Tue 14-May-19 13:07:52

Did you know ordinary people sent their clothing coupons to the queen to use on her wedding dress . That made me very angry . Although most were returned , It doesn’t seem that rationing really applied to the royals .

Anniebach Tue 14-May-19 13:17:52

professor Michael Adler had a different opinion to the fashion designers

Lily65 Tue 14-May-19 13:35:49

I don't know Meghan and I didn't know Diana. I'm not massively interested but I think at 19 she was a child going into something rather unpleasant. Not got a lot of time for Phillip or s alot of the hagers on.

I don't actually care but I wouldn't be nasty about them.

Anniebach Tue 14-May-19 13:44:28

The Diana Professor Adler was speaking about was 35 not 19

Lily65 Tue 14-May-19 13:44:54

hang not hag.......although......

Anniebach Tue 14-May-19 14:25:24

Although?

OurKid1 Tue 14-May-19 14:26:31

I thought his feet looked quite large, but my two sons had proportionately large feet too. Both are well into their thirties now - one wears a size 13, one wears size 14!

OurKid1 Tue 14-May-19 14:33:18

Anniebach - totally agree with your post on 13 May at 18.29. Announcing that one would not be making an announcement, then making one anyway. Reminds me of when my (now adult) children were toddlers and used to announce that they wouldn't speak to me ever again, then would remind me every few minutes that they weren't speaking to me.
