Does anyone agree with me that Meghan looks a lot better with her bit of pregnancy weight? Her face has filled out and she looks really healthy and well. Of course she looks so happy with her new baby, but there is a glow about her that we haven't seen before. I hope she doesn't try and slim back into her jeans within a couple of weeks, as most celebrities seem to do.

It is said her hand on his back was a Mothering gesture, she was reassuring him and what I have always taken as being clingy is domination. It was also pointed out she was in control of the interview, she opened and closed it and talked the most.

Not being unkind just sharing

Yes, she seemed to fill the gaps.

Poor Prince Harry. The 'who does he look like?' question - why on earth did he go on (and on) at length and say they were 'monitoring' the changes? He rambles and ties himself in clumsy knots.

He said something really long-winded about them being privileged to watch him grow. Ummm. That's what Mummies and Daddies do...

An uncomfortable interview I thought. They weren't at ease.

She is, due to her previous career, very confident in front of the cameras. Or being filmed. Something Kate has had to get used to.

Both lovely girls anyway.

I think she put her hand on Harry's back because he was holding the baby and her natural instinct was to be close to both of them. Very natural thing to do.

Oh for heaven's sake Day6!

Sometimes posts on here say much more about the poster than whatever they are posting about.

Anniebach Fri 10-May-19 19:35:50

Post not poster seems no longer respected

Gonegirl Fri 10-May-19 19:38:40

Eh?

Callistemon Fri 10-May-19 19:48:56

Oh dear, I must be alone in thinking her nails were very short and square looking (bitten then filed maybe?) and her fingers looked stubby She did keep putting her hand on the baby's head so we had a good look. Might have looked better without the pale pink (mat) polish?
Oh dear, desperately worrying about my own nails now - to paint or not to paint in case someone notices they are short and just rubbish really.

Well I don’t know why they bothered really. The baby was so wrapped up no one could see it, just it’s nose! And the silly questions (and answers!) .... !

Anyway I thought Meghan’s face suited the extra few baby pounds too, she looked very pretty I thought.

Grandma70s Fri 10-May-19 20:29:17

To me she always looks self-conscious, as if she’s thinking more about what she looks like than anything else. Not natural. The perpetual smile bothers me, too.

Gonegirl Fri 10-May-19 20:31:00

So mean! Old ladies pulling a young new mum to pieces.

Iam64 Fri 10-May-19 20:31:38

Well said Gonegirl

Anniebach Fri 10-May-19 20:39:22

The young Mum is 37, new Mum yes,

Once she is Queen she will be able to change all the dress and appearance codes.

annodomini Fri 10-May-19 21:12:25

For once, I agree with Gonegirl!

I think some of you could do with re-reading your posts. You might (maybe, but I doubt it) see just how nasty you are coming across. ?

Anniebach Fri 10-May-19 22:18:02

Maple nasty or being honest saying what I think? Does any thread on the royals bring ‘if you haven’t anything nice to say don’t say it ‘ ?

Grandma70s Fri 10-May-19 22:45:40

“If you haven't anything nice to say, don’t say anything” is total death to any form of discussion or exchange of opinions. A recipe for blandness and boredom.

They placed a photograph on Instagram for National Mother’s Day. Baby’s feet. They certainly know how to play it .

Framilode Mon 13-May-19 10:31:27

I agree Anniebach. Show us a proper photo of the baby without shawl or hat and then get on with the private life they say they so desperately want.

Gonegirl Mon 13-May-19 10:42:40

I thought the picture of the baby's feet on Instagram, was lovely. It was put up for International Mothers' Day. It was set against a background of forget-me-nots which, apparently, were Diana's favourite flowers.

Most mothers think that their baby's feet are adorable. The picture would have spoken to many mothers. It was tagged "Paying tribute to all mothers today - past, present, mothers-to-be, and those lost but forever remembered."
It was a lovely picture and a very kind thought.

Gonegirl Mon 13-May-19 10:50:03

the picture is here

Gonegirl Mon 13-May-19 10:50:54

Quarrel with that then. hmm

maryeliza54 Mon 13-May-19 11:00:27

GG I absolutely agree with you re the photo

Anniebach Mon 13-May-19 11:30:02

Diana’s favourite flower? But Megan had Diana’s favourite flower in her wedding bouquet , not forget me nots.
