Visit to Perth today. First stop M&S food hall then garden centre to continue my hunt for white periwinkle.

When our two GDs were smaller Marydoll I would let them take some sunflower seeds from the bird food bag and they planted them in their chosen spots. Youngest GD would measure their progress in amazement as they finished up taller than her. Hope your GD has fun watching the progress of what she has planted

Good luck for positive results re your kidney function and scan oldgaijin. The mutt will be happy with his rightful walking companion where she should be?

It's still overcast here in South Yorkshire, but it's brightening so I'm hopeful that the sun will break through a bit.

Going out for lunch with a friend today. Before I go, I've got some ripe bananas to make into a banana loaf, as I hate waste so don't want to throw them out.

Into town for lunch with family as it's the school holidays.

Good morning from east London, where it’s a bright but not too chilly start. Windows are all closed as the speed pillow outside is being replaced with a speed bump - long time since our road was this (traffic) quiet as it’s partly blocked off. Starting to pack for our trip to Northumberland today, DD and GD are coming with us so hope to get out and about with them in the next few days. Have a good day.
