Neighbours visited and did indeed bring cake. Sorry! All gone. Not as much as a crumb to share.
I feel FAT. I am FAT. I deserve to be FAT. Will do better next time.
A gorgeous evening. So peaceful. I am logging off and wish you all a pleasant evening.
Sleep well and I hope to join you all again tomorrow.

Won’t see you all for a week possibly.
Keep well
TOYA
Galen, have a great time and bring us back tales from the captain's table!
galen. Welcome back.
Bon Voyage ?.
Haste ye back!
A day of firsts for Mim - when life gives you lemons.......get up and walk! ?
All my AC like eating lemons and Mim seems to have the lemon gene. In future years this will evolve into the G &T gene if the form continues.
TOYA
I agree with Mim, I like lemons as well.
I went to daughter 2 for tea today, which was lovely, why does it always taste better when you haven`t had to prepare it yourself? It was spoiled a little by the phone call my daughter received from my DIL. My son has been admitted to hospital, only a week away from finishing his radiotherapy and chemo. He was running a temperature this afternoon, so she took him to A&E, they thought it could be sepsis so admitted him, and they were waiting for the oncologist to see him. DIL will let us know more tomorrow.
Bon Voyage Galen, the fjords are wonderful.
I’m sorry to hear your son has had a set back callgirl, hope for positive news soon.
Mim is adorable mamissimo, although I don’t share her desire to eat lemons
.
Had an enjoyable day out today I including an excellent lunch. I’m now very tired but can’t sleep. One of life’s oddities.
TOYA, take care.
callgirl, I'm sorry to hear about your son. Please do keep us updated. You must be worried. Our children are still our children whatever their age.
mim, is gorgeous!! My granny used to eat lemons but the gene missed me. Dd2 however loves them as does dgd2.
I hope you got some sleep, corner. We've bought an Echo Spot for the bedroom in the hope that white noise would stop dh's tinnitus from waking him and, more importantly me. That might have been a waste of money. We both tossed and turned all night until he turned it off.
galen have a super cruise. Report in if you can.
soop, please take it easy.
Thinking of panache and hoping some resolution to their plight is on the horizon.
Thought you'd like to see Wolfie. It's the glint in his eye that worries me
Callgirl, so sorry to hear of your son's setback.
Praying that he will be improve quickly.
When I was admitted to A&E, a few weeks ago, initially it was thought I too had sepsis.☹️ A stressful time for all.
However, the medics will be on the ball and although it is a setback after doing so well, your son is in safe hands.
It is so difficult to see our children suffer, we would take it upon ourselves rather than see them ill.?
Good to see you posting, marydoll and I hope your medication is now back on track.
Thank Kitty, more new meds, but a little apprehensive, which is to be expected!!!
Still awaiting more tests, so our holiday to Spain is scuppered.?
However, I have survived to tell the tale and there are Kitcheners with greater worries than I have.
I have been overwhelmed by the love and affection shown to me by so many, my home resembles a flower shop.???
I hope, you too, are feeling better, Kitty.?
My best wishes to all who are poorly or have family worries, I can't keep up.
My brain feels like cotton wool.?
Marydoll ??
callgirl, I'm so sorry that after all your DS has been through, he's now had this setback. Why does nothing go completely to plan? I hope it's a temporary setback and that the medics will have it in hand by the end of the day.
kitty, I can't believe how grown-up Wolfie looks now. And mamissimo, your Mim is lovely. I can't suck lemons. A medical student told me it was a recessive gene - she could eat a whole grapefruit without sugar!
Have a good Sunday, everyone.
Thoughts are with Callgirl & Marydoll this morning and welcome to Labaz. Welcome back * Galen*!
Spent a long morning at eye casualty yesterday where they removed a foreign body from under my eyelid. It has been there since last Sunday so has caused a lot of scratches on the cornea. I am sure it will feel
better soon but still very sore this morning.
Have a good day everyone!
Morning all,
Its a blue sky morning here which I love .
Hello and Bon Voyage Galen , enjoy the cruise !
Sorry to hear your news Callgirl , hopefully he'll be home quickly.
WelcomeLabaz - that's a name we'll all be shortening :-)
Hope your eye feels better soon NannyT , nothing worse, it feel like you have had a concrete block in your eye for a mere flake doesn't it?
Wow Kitty Wolfie is getting so big !! I cant believe how time flies.
Sorry to hear the holiday has been put on hold Marydoll hope you feel better soon.
Love the picture of Mim Mamissimo , what a cutie.
Cooper's class was visited by the fire brigade on Friday ( no he hadn't set off the fire alarm lol) . He's considering a career now in the brigade once he grows into the hat !!
Happy day all x
Lovely, happy, spirit-lifting images of Mim Wolfie and our firefighter-in-waiting Cooper. He certainly knows how to look good in a hat.
Marydoll and callgirl1 Special thoughts on this sunny, wonderful day.
Galen Us lot expect tales of daring do from the Captain's table. Only, keep us out of it. Any mischief you create, should it make front page of a disreputable paper, is entirely of your making. Us lot are innocent bystanders.
NannyT One's eyesight is so precious. I can only imagine how uncomfortable you will have been feeling. Hope that all heals as soon as possible.
It is yet another glorious day. We had a short stroll. Bones still playing silly buggerations but...hey...we do our very best to keep going.
Mim and Wolfie are just gorgeous. Such a pity they do not need a permanent babysitter although I would prefer Hattie, Sam or one or more of the cats.
The sun is shining here so the washing is out as usual. I slept like a log as usual- sorry to those who are lucky if they manage a couple of hours.
I cooked a chicken curry last night so I have the remainder of that for tonight. What am I going to do with no Line of Duty to watch?
I hardly recognised Cooper under the fireman's hat!
Soop, you have had your stroll, it is now time to rest.
TOYA
NO Line of Duty! I am bereft. It was the highlight of our drama watching week.
(knocks gently on the door) Hello, I'm a newbie here. Can you squeeze me in? I've brought lemon drizzle (I know you all like cake).

I had to laugh at your comment about Line of Duty Soop , last night as we sat watching some TV I asked Grampy if there was a buttered bun to go with my coffee. there was not ! Im sure I could be heard at the other end of the village when I said, 'WHAT???? No Saturday night treats at all ???????'.
Luckily for me , Grampy shared some of his Easter egg( I have already eaten all of mine without sharing) so that was pretty nice of him !!!
Come in allassinsane , we never say no to a slice of cake !!
