Just got home from having a truly happy evening with my family (2 sons, 4 grandchildren, 1 d-i-l, and my husband), a lovely meal, some brilliant presents, a home-made birthday cake, and beautiful cards. I cried....but this time with the emotion of feeling so fortunate.

Thank you. I am so glad to have the black dog under control this week... as you say, we never know when it will appear again, but I've had a lovely week so far. Met my friend for coffee and cake on Monday, and my workmates sang Happy Birthday to me yesterday, and gave me a cake and wine xx
