Didn't 'Poor Cow' cause a fuss because the opening scene was of a very personal place ?? smile

If you are as well made and as valuable as most of those antiques you have no worries!

On a coach tour - the guide called us “recycled teenagers” - I quite liked that!grin

My dad always maintained that to be "antique", an object must be at least 100 years old. Sadly, nowadays it appears to be a term which can be applied to anything that was made prior to about 1990. Which I guess is most of us on GN?

There is a local museum which has displays of domestic items used "in the past" - I have used most of them.

My brother told me about walking around a motor bike museum and seeing a bike exactly like the one he had owned!

Ellan, that takes me back, I remember going to the pictures to see that many years ago. I was such an innocent it really shocked me!

I prefer the term 'vintage', like a fine wine or a lovely early model of car.

Watching Antiques Roadshow many of the items are a lot younger than me! Does that make me an antique?
