I'd say 99.9% of those ordinary, everyday people (from all walks of life, ages, professions) who want to Leave share the dislike of thuggery and violence, in any form, for any reason.
Rest assured, 17 million decent people pour scorn on violence too. I have been a football fan for a long, long time. Back in the '70s, boot boys, nasty skinheads looking for a fight, rampaged around towns - having 'fun'. Thousands upon thousands of fans deplored their behaviour. Thousands and thousands went to matches for love of the game, camaraderie, banter and friendships formed from attending games over a long period of time.
The boot boy element of Brexit exists on both sides. The scorn poured on people who voted differently from Remainers has been absolutely appalling. The names Leavers have been called, the comments from remainers about Leavers in opinion sections of the press, the picture Remainers like to paint of Leavers being violent scum has been well documented,
Let's not pretend Remainers wear halos.
If the pen is mightier than the sword, Remainers have been using theirs to write the vilest hate mail, for the last three years, incessantly.
Shame on you.
