MIid morning, I asked DH, a fierce Leave supporter, if he had heard the latest news update -that Article 50 has been revoked and we are staying in the EU.

He fell for it hook, line and sinker. It was soooo worth it! ?

There was a nice story in the metro today about the Pilgrim Fathers leaving from Cornwall rather than Devon. I liked that. Was it true?

There was a brilliant article on News Thump about the RNIB training cats to help blind people, and lots of comments about the bother with cat flaps and blind people being found sleeping in the airing cupboard!

My friend’s husband phoned her to say he had had an ‘explosive’ stomach upset, so could she walk down to the village with clean clothes and soapy water to clean both him and the car!

She did not laugh.

Don't know if that was a joke or not, but AFAIR they went to Leiden in the Netherlands first before heading west :-)

Teacher daughter casually asked the kids in her tutor group if they knew what time Theresa May's visit to the school was expected.
