I hope you agree that it is "better late than never" dear kitchen friends, but sometimes I wish I had another few pairs of hands here!!!
No sign of my dear man improving and being able to do gardening chores so we have several firms in to quote for the work.
Having some quotes in to take away this grassy headache has given us something to truly chew over.........first quote £140.......whilst remembering there is quite a lot of tree trimming to follow, and of the grass cutting will be ideally a weekly job very soon.
This house sale and move is needed more than ever!!
We have been at the head of the list for this Extra care Sheltered Housing actually Doodle for quite some time as because we are both now in real need, that means we have gained "points".
Whilst it is quite unusual for two to qualify it seems...........however as yet it has not made much difference!!!
You are very right in saying there is a growing need for this type of housing but somehow our Council have cloth ears!!!
I have felt honour bound to show my sympathy at the so sudden loss of your dear friend Soop, plus of course it could not have happened at a worst time in your life.Losing such a dear friend leaves such an emptyness that hopefully ......at least in time........the love flowing from the kitchen, will just help heal a little.
We certainly aim to keep you busy in both reading and replying to our posts.
Hopefully the fact you were able to say your final goodbye will help in time too.
A distinct change in your dear H`s condition of late Ann and very understandable you find this immensely difficult to handle. After all it has been a long, painful ever worsening affair and you have really been brought to the brink of despair many times.Naturally after such a long companionship this change in his health is extremely hard on you,you are left not knowing which way to turn,my heart truly goes out to you,no real answers to offer either...........save that we are here to support and offer some uplift on these extremely trying times.
Whilst I guess now knowing the Hospital date for your dear one`s forthcoming big `op Synonymous both pleases in the sense knowing it is good to have the deed done and over with, allowing recovery to begin in the most delightful time of year...............but then there all those too many questions and doubts creeping in which makes it hard and not as easy going, sensible gets knocked on the head.
Just hoping you will both find that extra strength to meet the occasion and whatever it brings.
Whilst so good knowing family members will be there to help and give that support when most needed.
Your husband will need to take life nice and gently for a while I guess Susan.............time is the big healer!
Thanks for the bright uplifts that has me chuckling away.As always the goodies you bring has me truly drooling and my Ensure drinks get distinctly more Ugh!
However my day is fast drawing to a close so I will bade you all a fond farewell, sleep well and may tomorrow bring you all much cheer.
