We have had a crack over our front door, where the ceiling meets the wall, for a while, and suddenly I had looked at it long enough. Also dropped many hints aimed at DH, which weren’t taken on board. Mind you, he hasn’t been up to par lately. So I filled in the crack on Saturday. Consequently it then needed painting, so this morning, fishing around in the garage for left over paint, I have mixed up a fetching shade of ‘Stone White’. So far so good, collected up paint tray , roller and brush for cutting in. Cleaned up the paint stirrers, wooden spoon, etc, used for paint mixing, and collecting the stepladder on the way, I took myself into the porch to begin.
All going well, top of wall done and coming down nicely, coffee supplied by DH to keep me going. As I got further down, why hadn’t I realised that there comes a point when I need to kneel down to reach the bottom of the wall? My knees are not as bendy as they used to be, but they are getting there, and I should finish later today.
Having stopped for lunch, courtesy of DH, I now have to persuade myself to start again.
Just hope it doesn’t rain, as there are two loads out in the garden.
