It's light but not bright in North Leicestershire. It's also chilly!

Early start for us as DH has an early hospital appointment.

Morning Mick, morning Kitty, morning All. Physio for me this morning, no reason to be awake so early though. Chilly here too. Another half an hour for the heating. Hope Mr Lester is OK today and Monday is kind to everyone.

Good morning Mick, Kitty and Corner. It's chilly here in Glasgow and it has just started raining, much to DH's annoyance, as he plan to go out early to play golf.
Kitty, best wishes for your DH today and Corner, I hope the physio helps.

I have a funeral today and I am call in case DIL needs me to drive her and DGD to the hospital for the wee one's asthma clinic appointment, if daddy can't do it .
Parking is well nigh on impossible and it's at the top of a very high hill, not exactly pleasant if you can't get a breath at the best of times.

Good morning from Birmingham,where there are streaks of red and gold in the sky, and no rain yet. I have a taster watercolour class this morning, then writing class this afternoon. My “do nothing” day yesterday turned into a shopping and lunch day, so I willhave to catch up on washing and a few admin jobs today. I hope it’s a good day for everyone.

Good morning a bit dull but not windy in Leicestershire. Got granddog for a couple of weeks so two walks a day and will go and see my mum to see if she is any better.

I hope they can sort your little one out attire hospital marydoll.

Morning All

A lovely still, sunny morning in the north of Norfolk, but there was a red sunrise so I’m not expecting it to last.

Taking our caravan to the caravan shop for its annual service this morning. Servicing a caravan still seems weird as our original tin box on wheels had nothing to service. How things have changed.

One of our oldest and prettiest fish in the pond is badly eggbound and I fear she may be on her way out this year. How long do shubumkins (sp?) live? However, yesterday DGD2 espied several baby fish from last year which cheered us up as none have survived before - too many newts and dragonflie larvae.

Good morning to all from a grey Northampton.

An excellent day yesterday at the rugby! Watched my team Northampton Saints beat Saracens 23-9 in the inaugural cup final! First silverware for several years, and there was much jubilation.

Then to a concert afterwards with DD - an evening of wind band music from our three county youth groups. Excellent as usual; there is so much talent in the county. DD came through the county music system from age 9 to 18 and finished up playing in the award winning County Concert Band, so an evening of nostalgia for her

Not much planned for today; giving yoga a miss - don't think my wrist has fully recovered yet. May go and join them afterwards for coffee and a chat.

Getting a bit brighter here; hope all have a good day.

Good morning from a chilly E. Northants. I hope the rain holds off, I've just put all the 'coloureds' in the machine! Lovely breakfast and lots of laughs with youngest son and his friend yesterday after they stayed the night - made me realise how much I miss his company around the house.

Husband has a funeral to attend this afternoon. I have the dentist.

Good Morning from a bright albeit chilly Black Country.

Arrived home yesterday evening from a wonderful sunny week in Lanzarote. It felt very cold on alighting from the Plane last night!

Mounds of washing today, and it is my U3A Canal group meeting this morning, so I will walk down to that, and pop into Aldi for supplies on the way home.

The mutt and I are off to the woods again later...he had a fab run round with all his new mates yesterday.
The grands start at their new school in Singapore today, so shall Facetime them soon to see how they got on and give them an update on their dog.

Morning all. Light cloud layer here on the south coast but the forecast is for sunny spells later. Still on the cool side.

Late up again this morning, after being awake in the night again with my sore jaw/mouth. Have an appointment with the dentist on Thursday so need to hang on till then to get the stitches removed. Hopefully will feel much better then.

Thoughts are with all of us and our loved ones coping with buggerations.

Good Morning all from a lovely bright but cold start in Fife. It's lovely to see the sun shining. No definite plans for today shall take it as it comes. DH will propably be out tidying garage up so I will busy myself indoors. Everyone seems to have a busy day today, hopefully it will turn out a good day for everyone. Marydoll sorry you have a funeral and I hope DGD gets on at hospital.

Off to seek a sari!! Have been invited to an Indian dinner dance and they would like everyone to wear saris if possible. Think it will be great fun. We are having a traditional indian meal followed by Indian dancers.It is organised by a group of Indian ladies every year and no men allowed. My dearest sister works with several of the ladies who attend and they invited her and myself. Cant wait. The sun is starting to shine and looks like it will be a nice morning. It's a much brighter, calmer morning here in South Yorkshire, but still quite chilly. Thank goodness the wind has died down!
Coffee morning today, followed by a couple of chores to do.

That sounds fun, travelsafar. A lady I worked with brought a couple of saris into school for our topic and helped another colleague and I to put them on. There's a special knack, isn't there with all the folds, but they look stunning once on. I love the beautiful colours. I'm sure you will have a brilliant time.

Good morning from a rainy day Glasgow

We are home to jump back on the merry go round of ever increasing hospital/doctor/dentist appointments but looking on the bright side, the best tonic was DD1 and both GDs staying over last night. Lots of chatter and laughter is excellent medicine ?
