Have my arms shrunk?

I'm having more and more difficulty reaching things!

Not just things which are far away, but my own feet, and (ahem!) other areas.

I think my arms have shrunk, and my middle has grown.

Have you noticed this happening to you?

As well as shorter arms I have lost my neck. Dunno where it went it is very strange.

Finding it more difficult to fasten my bra .,My hands won’t stretch far enough to catch the hooks .Why do they have to be so far from the edge of the strap?! Very frustrating.

Just read that some others are having the same problem -sympathy!,Fastening the bra at the front and twisting it round is a pain! ?

My neck has lost its swivel.
It used to turn around quite well, but now I can't look behind me.

Golly! Not me.

MissAdventure
I shouldn’t have laughed at your neck problem but the wording did amuse me. I imagined you being owl-like in the past, managing to swivel almost 360 degrees. You had me checking how far back I could see. Wasn’t too bad but the crunching sounded awful!

I can't reach up at the minute and nearly fell over trying pull on bras recently as my feet got in the way.

If I bend over frontways to pick something up from the floor, I now find I'm liable to topple forwards thereby risking landing on my head. I can't work out why this is.

Gonegirl Heavy bags under your eyes, maybe smile

anyone good with a pencil? lol

Nanny27 Sat 16-Mar-19 19:04:15

I’ve got one bikergran but it’s on the floor and I can’t reach down to pick it up as my knees won’t bend properly anymore.

Does anyone think this could be linked to those of us who have problems with a magic wardrobe. Recent post. Not only do things put in the magic wardrobe shrink, but as our arms have shrunk we are well and truly snookered !

I'm seriously thinking of visiting a farrier because my nails have got so tough to cut.
Why does that happen EV - yet at the same time my fingernails split and break!!

I used to have very long arms in comparison to my height but just lately I have found that if I buy a jumper or cardigan, the sleeves are always too long.

Just because I've gone up a size (or two) does not mean that my arms have grown in proportion.

Juliet27 Sat 16-Mar-19 20:08:30

Gonegirl it's your brain, the more information gets stuffed into it, the heavier it becomes.

Jalima1108 Sat 16-Mar-19 20:11:18

anyone good with a pencil?
I was supposed to pick up pencils with my toes when I was a child - exercises for flat feet.

Right, I'll go now grin

Juliet27 Sat 16-Mar-19 20:12:09

My nails seem to have developed vertical ridges which I'm told is yet another age thing! Anyone else found that?

MissAdventure Sat 16-Mar-19 20:21:51

I don't know.
If I bend down that far my glasses fall off and my hearing aids out. blush

bikergran Sat 16-Mar-19 20:38:05

Nanny lol ...lol

On the advice of another grandsnetter, I now fasten my bra before stepping into it and pulling it up. I don't like fastening it in front and pulling it round because that pulls on my skin, especially if it's still feeling a little damp from the shower.
