Good Morning Everyone,
Its grey and its raining here in Brackley this morning , my usual trip out today .
Fully recovered from the trip to the show , its surprising how much it takes out of you, when your not used ti it , plus the age factor as well.
Mick

Good morning all from a wet and windy Derbyshire.
Hope the poorly ones soon feel better.
Thinking of soop also.
Keep dry and warm everyone.

Good morning.
Rain and wind in Kent this morning, a repeat of yesterday.
DH had already left for a 20min each way walk to Dr. when I got up. I better get the coffee on for his soggy return.
Have a good day everyone.

Good morning everyone,
It's another very blustery morning here, but the sun is shining at the moment.
Out for lunch today, so hope the rain holds off.
Hope those unwell soon feel better.

Good morning All x
Another windy night with a gate banging constantly somewhere. Cats unsettled again so a disturbed night but not the end of the world compared with the problems of others.

Waiting on another workman today with the place like a bin, shifting stuff around from room to room. I can't seem to get for going.

Must get on with my crumpets and hot choc.
All take care if you still have Gareth hanging around.

Good morning all from a ‘sunny at the moment’ Perthshire. It’s pretty calm and dry which means I can be outdoors pottering in the garden I am attempting to establish from scratch.

A cosy day with Granny is always good medicine Marydoll Big get better soon cuddles for your wee GD.

Nelliemoser Thu 14-Mar-19 09:21:53

when did control enter come in?

Nelliemoser Thu 14-Mar-19 09:22:56

Nobody told me.

Nelliemoser Thu 14-Mar-19 09:24:37

One more time for good measure .

Nelliemoser Thu 14-Mar-19 09:30:29

Sorry folks for my disruptions.

Why do we not use the preview message and post message any more?
I did not see that coming.

"I will leave you in peace now."
Oh dear that is exactly what my Dad used to say.

Auntieflo Thu 14-Mar-19 09:45:16

Why can’t I post?

Bluesky1 Thu 14-Mar-19 09:52:08

I have some messages, how do I get into them?

lovebeigecardigans1955 Thu 14-Mar-19 09:57:42

Morning all from South Notts - Storm Gareth or whatever it was is said to be waving goodbye, I believe. The sky is pale grey/white-ish after early heavy rain. Hope you aren't badly shaken up, Greyduster. Have a good day, all.

Auntieflo Thu 14-Mar-19 10:06:24

Here goes, again. Short message posts, longer one, hmmm.
Preview button is not working, so will try without doing that
Good morning one and all
Annie, I hope your therapy session goes well for you.
Good news yesterday, DH. bone scan was clear, yippee!,
I was boing out to buy some bulbs for new bedroom lamps I bought yesterday, thought I had some at home, but evidently not. They are the small screw type LED dimmable
Not having much luck with my Mamade marmalade either.
It didn’t set, so re-boiled it this morning, and over did it, so have stirred a teaspoonful of whisky into each jar, interesting.
To all who are poorly, get better soon, and have a goid day one and all.

BlueSapphire Thu 14-Mar-19 10:24:56

I had trouble posting too, had to have two or three goes. Did the preview button, then the post wouldn't work. Seems to be ok now.

Morning All

Just back from an exciting morning of Reception class science for parents (and stand-ins). Got drenched on the way there and my little car was buffeted all over the show. At least the sun is shining now but I daren’t hang the washing out.

Early lunch methinks.

NfkDumpling Thu 14-Mar-19 11:56:14

(A drop of whisky in marmalade makes it perfect Auntieflo!

Hi Mick and All

Late check in as two highly charged DGSs kept us on our toes from 6.45 to when we took them to school. Then off in search of Red Noses for them for tomorrow. Phew. ?

Hope soop making good progress. Also your DGD Mary.

Good luck today Annie keep going.

NanKate Thu 14-Mar-19 12:13:35

Bluesky if you have some personal messages to open go to the top of this page to the orange Inbox and click on there.

Nanny41, what part of Sweden do you live in? DS's partner originally came from Stockholm, but her only remaining family now live in a village outside Malmo. DS and family go over every year.

DoraMarr Thu 14-Mar-19 14:46:11

Good afternoon from a blustery Birmingham. I told my 2 year old grandaughter that if we have rain and sun at the same time it’s called “a monkey’s birthday,” , because that’s what my grandmother told me. She took it very seriously. Back to mine via M&S to collect six large parcels of sale items, some of which will go back. She’s sleeping now and I’m having a cup of tea. There is a trip to a wine bar planned for this evening, but I will have to see how I feel.
Annie, stdavids

Have a lovely Friday and weekend everyone. Urmstongran hope the pub lunch was good. Did you enjoy your Italian in Urmston as we've seen the new place I think you meant and our DD lives in Urmston and fancies going out for a meal with her DH whilst we babysit sometime soon?
