That's correct, absent. I think 2 of the Gransnetters that I know of have given up social media during Lent.

I had been in contact with her by phone, but will try later today.
Mind you I did get a phone call from a Anchor home last Friday afternoon , from MK and one of its villages outside MK, because when I was offline thanks to computer crash she contacted me.

Greetings all from a wild and blustery Aberdeenshire.
O panic, yesterday as I thought iPhone was bust, as the screen was totally dark. Turned out that somehow, the brightness level had been turned right down...HOW? Anyway, all is well and daughter phoned to say that they were waiting to board aircraft for Singapore. It's a big adventure for them but I'm a sad Mummy/Grandma today.
