It's evening here in sunny Auckland, New Zealand. We've had a hot Monday and are driving to Rotarua tomorrow.

Damp and less cloudy today. I love that it is light when I get up to make my cuppa to bring back to bed.

Pleased with yesterday’s stuff so will take books and DVD back to library today and take things as they come.

Haven’t been able to go to Keep Fit for a few weeks so am getting up early to go and catch up with all the Keep Fitters.

Sunny and cool here on the south coast but the gales have subsided - for now.

I am grateful for the good wishes yesterday as my jaw and mouth recovers from the surgery on Friday. It is improving slowly. Looking forward to being able to chew!

Good morning everyone from South Manchester where it’s cold and damp. It hammered down with sleety rain in the early hours and it woke me up pounding against the bedroom window. The Pennines are not visible today, being covered with thick white cloud. But the sun is streaking through and there are a few stretches of blue sky so it might yet be a decent day.

No plans for today and it’ll be good to curl up with a book or this iPad and no need to go out. Enjoy the musical Mick - for the fifth time - you’ll know all the words to every song by now I imagine!

If I was using my laptop now instead of my tablet to write this I would be using my previous username from 2012 as Nelliemoser.
It seems that works as before but it still does not seem to "talk " to my tablet. My OH does not seem to manage android.
What I want is an expert.

Just a fresh loaf needed this morning then the hoovering to be done so nothing too strenuous

Good morning all from a cold, bright Aberdeenshire. The wee mutt is doing a great job of scaring away the various mangy mogs that hang around my garden, using it as a latrine. I am enjoying being back in the habit of twice daily dog walks and have met friends, two and four legged, from my dog boarding days.. Am sleeping better too.

Dentist this morning and DH has hospital appointment this afternoon.

We are off out to look for a new rug for the living room, (DGD has gradually unpicked the corners of our present one).
It has will be a long day, as DH and I have totally diverse ideas of what is nice. I have taste, he doesn't.

Good morning from east London. Bright at the moment but if it's like yesterday, there'll be rain at some points. Tennis at 12.30 today, the first match of our in-house club tournament where no one is playing with their 'usual' partner so could lead to some interesting results. Have a good day.

Good morning all; it's bright and sunny in Northampton, but still windy. No rush today to get out early for yoga as my hand is in a splint; waiting to hear from the fracture clinic whether they need me to go in or are happy for me to just keep it in the splint.
Must get my paperwork together today - am seeing a new solicitor tomorrow about making a new will.I

Good morning from a gloriously sunny Birmingham. I’m a late starter this morning after one of “those” nights. I had an idea for a piece for my writing group, so I had a cup of tea at 3a.m while I wrote it down. It still looks ok this morning, which isn’t t always the case with 3a.m. ideas!
