Sorry, it's 4pm. This tablet is on Spanish time. No point in changing it now as next week we will be on Cambodia time.

Not spring in Glasgow. On my patio it is 22C at 5pm.
I declare it is officially Summer. ?
My son tells me it has snowed in L.A. a few days ago for the first time since 1962.

Good afternoon everyone. Lovely and sunny here in Huthwaite Nottinghamshire you all seem to get up so early you put me to shame. Just cooking a late lunch. Hope to do some cleaning later.

Good morning all. Beautiful day here, blue skies and sunny. Could hear doves cooing in the trees at the back. Feels wonderful as if summer is on its way.
Have a nice day everyone.

Willow - what little family we have are near us too, so we are lucky in that.
Happy Anniversary to your brother and sil Mapleleaf ?

Morning Michael, Annie and all. It’s lovely here in Berks, sunny and bright, but with a nip in the air.
Another here who would love to live near the sea, but I can’t see it happening.
Yesterday I re-strung my whirligig washing line. Thought I could do it in 15 mins, an hour later, I finished it, and it did hold the washing that was waiting to be pegged out.
Off volunteering this afternoon, lovely and looking forward to it.
Enjoy the day everyone.

Good morning from South Notts where hurrah, the sun is shining. There were reminders on the radio of the weather this time last year - the Beast from the East. While it's meant to get colder soon we don't want a repeat of that, do we?
Hope lunch goes well for you NanKate, dementia is cruel as many of us here know.
Best wishes to all.

Good morning from a very sunny SE Essex.

Well we survived half term - yippee

Had GS this morning to get him ready for pre-school as Daughter is poorly.

Dress fitting and hairdressers today.

Keep safe folks

Good morning.
It’s a beautiful morning again today, though still on the chilly side, here in South Yorkshire. It got very warm yesterday afternoon. I think it’s fooling the birds a bit as I can hear the starlings scratching about under the eaves again and other birds are singing merrily.
I need to buy a Golden wedding card today for my brother and SiL as it’s their anniversary at the weekend. I remember the weather then was a lot colder, with snow lying on the ground, and an icy wind blowing - it was freezing while having the photographs taken! Hard to believe 50 years have passed since then.
Hope you all have a good day. smile

Good morning, another beautiful day in NE.
Yesterday the temperature reached 16 degrees when we went for a walk. Did some bird watching, very noisy geese but there were was a cute snipe.
Shopping today and perhaps a walk later.

Hope everyone has a good day x

EllanVannin Tue 26-Feb-19 08:38:51

Good morning All x
Hope you're all in fine fettle this lovely morning-------make the most of it ! ( I wonder if it's our summer hahaha )

Will probably fish out some more towels to wash from the bottom of the pile to freshen them up. I seem to have a glut of them ! Same with sheets but I have got rid of a lot of those to my GD for all the children.

A trip to Asda later for one or two bits including lemons in readiness for next weeks pancakes. I like to have things in advance.
GD might pop in after she's dropped off at the nursery other than that, that's my day sorted.

Hope all is well with everyone.

Greetings all from bright, sunny Aberdeenshire. Like yesterday, a wee touch of haar which burnt off very quickly.
The chap is coming today to replace the damaged glass in the greenhouse, so I am looking forward to getting seed trays ready and planted.
My trip to town yesterday went OK but Markies was a disaster...Had vouchers to spend but their clothes are dreadful...wonky hems, off colours, poor quality and finishing. Why can't they do quality basics like they used to? £50 for an unlined skirt...ridiculous! End of rant, happy now!
Have a good day everyone.

wompus Tue 26-Feb-19 08:20:39

Reading of your seashore walks I remember our last one a month ago and am off now to plan the next.

Willow10 Tue 26-Feb-19 08:12:31

Sounds lovely 1inamillion. The only thing that stops me is my family, they are all spread out here in the midlands and I would be alone!

Annapops Tue 26-Feb-19 08:09:24

Good morning all and it's sunshine again in our part of County Durham.
One DGS here already and we're now waiting for DGD2 to arrive. They are cousins and play really well together so our time with them tends to be quite relaxed.
Kitchen tile delivery expected today so we won't be going far.
Loving this weather, so enjoy it everyone while it lasts.

BlueSapphire Tue 26-Feb-19 08:01:19

Good morning; another cold but bright frosty morning in Northampton.

I am worn out already, having had to get the two DGDs up, breakfasted and ready for school. Have had my shower somehow and got myself dressed! And managed to put a load of washing in....Eldest DGD has just gone to school as she has basketball club at 8am, and I shall walk the younger to school at 8.30. Same routine again tomorrow! Their dad, my DS, is 40 today, and they have FaceTimed him already. He is celebrating with his partner (their mum) in Prague.

Then a nice relaxing morning at the hairdressers. Thinking of asking for a change of style. Home for lunch, tidy up and then walk back to school to pick girls up. Cooking Bolognese for tea.

Have a good day everyone.

I live by the sea Willow for 36 years now and we do love taking the dog for a walk along the beach. Though that will stop May - Sept. then we'll have to move further along the coast to a dog friendly beach.

Another lovely day here in letchworth. Off to do some shopping with my dearest sister this morning. She is moving in a couple of weeks and we are curtain hunting. So glad it is mild so no coats needed as it gets so warm in shops when you are all bundled up against the cold outside. HAve a great day everyone, enjoy the fine weather and spseedy recovery wishes to all who are under par.
