Thank you, baggs, for setting our minds at rest. Glad she is doing so well.

Marmight Thu 14-Mar-19 18:05:17

That's good news Baggs. Thanks. Amazing how soon discharge is these days. Nothing like home and your own bed to hasten recovery.

aggie Thu 14-Mar-19 18:06:09

Bags thanks for the update , I hope Soop is ok to get home , nothing like your own bed , but she will be so tired and needs to take it slowly

dragonfly46 Thu 14-Mar-19 18:10:26

Thank you baggs for the update. It made me cry. So pleased soop is okay.

callgirl1 Thu 14-Mar-19 18:12:26

Thank you Baggs for the update, my family have also been asking me for news of Soop. She must be doing well if they`re letting her home so soon, but getting back home will probably raise her spirits no end anyway.

Charleygirl5 Thu 14-Mar-19 18:18:28

Thanks Baggs soop will be a bit apprehensive about going home but MacSporran and us lot will take care of her. There is nothing like your own bed.

Doodle Thu 14-Mar-19 18:18:36

izabella glad you have had a better day today.

Susan56 Thu 14-Mar-19 18:24:18

Thank you Baggs, brilliant news about soop coming home,so relieved to hear she is doing so well.

callgirl1 Thu 14-Mar-19 18:35:25

Synonymous, best wishes to your husband for tomorrow.
Panache, I do hope things improve very soon for your hubby, you both deserve for things to be better.
I`ve got toothache, haven`t been near a dentist for over 30 years, might have trouble getting one to see me,I don`t want it filling, just OUT! But I don`t like being awake whilst it`s done, do they still put you to sleep if you ask for it?

Fennel Thu 14-Mar-19 18:35:47

Thanks from me too Baggs. You're a good friend.
I hope poor old Mac can do it - he must be exhausted, but relieved that our dearsoop will be home soon.

Fennel Thu 14-Mar-19 18:37:56

ps sorry to all you others on here with serious health problems, wishing you all well .
I can't keep up!

annodomini Thu 14-Mar-19 18:39:10

Thank you Baggs for the good news about soop's discharge. Once she is home she will feel more comfortable but I hope that the journey doesn't take too much out of her - or out of poor MacS.

megan123 Thu 14-Mar-19 18:41:35

Thank you Baggs for the news that Soop will be allowed home tomorrow. So pleased, as many have said there is nothing like your own bed, Mac will be so glad.

Charleygirl5 Thu 14-Mar-19 18:48:32

Syn good luck for tomorrow. If Mr. S is in pain, the forthcoming surgery will really help him. It is not easy for either of you at present.

ffinnochio Thu 14-Mar-19 18:52:32

Great news, B.

Greyduster Thu 14-Mar-19 18:52:50

Very good news and thankyou, Baggs. Must be a relief for MacS and I hope he gets a restful night before he has to bring home his good lady. Hope the weather is kind for his journey.

Anneliese63 Thu 14-Mar-19 18:56:04

Baggs it’s absolutely great to hear that Soop is recovering and able to leave hospital so soon. As others have said, it’s so important to take things very slowly. We will all be so happy when she is back home and able to start her recovery. Hope MacS is ok. He’s had what must have been a stressful and exhausting couple of days.

Also thinking of everyone who who is going through difficult times.

harrigran Thu 14-Mar-19 18:56:16

Good to hear the news about soop, she will be very fragile but hopefully being home will help her rest and recuperation.

Oldandverygrey Thu 14-Mar-19 19:01:02

Callgirl - the dentist will inject into your gum, which will numb it, then he usually decides best course of action. Good luck.

NanKate Thu 14-Mar-19 19:07:29

Soop ????????? what good news. Onwards and upwards.

Mamissimo Thu 14-Mar-19 19:29:57

Super Soop ! We will be installing a kitchen camera so that we can check that you’re doing what the doctors order! Any failure to comply and you’ll be in the wing under Matron Izabella’s care!

Synonymous Thu 14-Mar-19 19:46:40

Callgirl hope the dental appointment goes well.
Bear in mind that there is a numbing gel they can rub on to your gum to numb it before they give you an injection. One dentist told me that it was only for children but I told him that I was a child too, after all my mum told me so many times! grin

Greyduster Thu 14-Mar-19 19:51:09

Blimey, Mamissimo, no pressure then, eh, Izabella??

Synonymous Thu 14-Mar-19 19:51:49

soop It is so good to hear that you will be discharged tomorrow, there is nothing quite like being at home and sleeping in your own bed. smile

Marydoll Thu 14-Mar-19 19:53:50

Dear Kitcheners, I have just spoken to Soop by phone. We had a lovely chat, she is missing you all, and as usual concerned for everyone in the kitchen. She can't wait to read all the posts, once she is back online.
She is very upbeat, but tired, as Baggs has already mentioned.
She was in the process of packing her bags, hoping to get home tomorrow. It all depends on what the doctors say in the morning and McSporran making the 6 hour round trip.
Her biggest concern at the moment is that the glue, on the thank you cards she is writing, won't stick! grin
She is an amazing woman and Baggs is indeed a wonderful friend. Soop was so pleased to see her visiting, it gave her such a lift.

Thank you all who sent good wishes for my wee granddaughter. She is only three and it breaks my heart to see her like this. It's a case of déjà vu, as my younger son was exactly the same at that age.
Fortunately she has a hospital review on Monday, so fingers crossed.

Soop has insisted that I pop into the Argy with some offerings and ask them to keep her some Poteen, so I will "Love you and leave you, " as my mother used to say.
