DH is going to Aldi tomorrow to stock up on wine and crisps so I'll ask him to get smoked salmon - anything else.

You can trust DH, he'd have me to answer to otherwise.

I was thinking about commenting on this thread but I'm not quite sure where it's going....but I would quite like to be behind the sofa with the rest of you with copious supplies of smoked salmon and prosecco, and can I add a bottle of cointreau as well?

I am not a fan of anything fizzy so happy to bring a dry white, my favourite. Biscuits and cheese will be just perfect. Please may I have a chair because if I sit on the floor it would need a crane to get me up.

I'll bring Rhubarb Gin and Biscuits for cheese.

Buffybee I would be delighted to take charge of the dog- she would have so many kisses and cuddles she will be overwhelmed with love.

Oh heavens, Oliver Sprout would probably be fine with the dog, not sure how Minnie (aka "the Baggage" as in, oh, don't quite know how to explain, but I don't mean it in the luggage sense, rather a naughty little thing!) would be about a canine companion.

Perhaps she could perch on the back of the sofa until she was sure the dog was a friend?

She could also act as a look out for any potential unwanted invaders?

PS Charleygirl of course you can have a chair, may I suggest a recliner, just in case we find ourselves in a long siege situation?
