Good morning All x
A beautiful sunny and bright day in Wirral.
I had already tried to post a message but the "502" got in the way, but hey-ho this is what technology does.

Take great care underfoot everyone.

Morning all from a frosty Notts, but the blue sky and sunshine doesn't do any harm.

Marydoll Wed 23-Jan-19 10:28:03

Best wishes for today, Mythbirtthedragon ?

Bobdoesit Wed 23-Jan-19 10:01:11

I love the idea of you 'skipping all the way home' Mythbirtthedragon flowers

Good morning all, just about to venture out into this cold but bright morning in Somerset. Lots of ice on the roads but no snow, thank goodness.

Mythbirtthedragon Wed 23-Jan-19 09:56:33

Good morning from east London where the sprinkle of snow last night is rapidly disappearing in the sun. Thought briefly of going swimming earlier but remembered the wet and cold of last night. No tennis this morning but will get my exercise walking to the hospital to what I hope will be my sign off appointment from the oncology team after nearly six years of post chemo monitoring after a mastectomy. I hope to be skipping all the way home.

A very late good morning from the NE. Harshest frost of the winter so far but it does look pretty as the sun is shining.
We have had a message to say GD's computer is on it's way back to us, only collected and returned to manufacturer last Friday, even brand new ones can fail.

Hi everyone from a pleasant evening here in Sydney.

Took the DGC to the pools today as it was quite hot earlier. [They are still on Summer holidays but go back next Tuesday]. Enjoyed my day ?

Have a good day. Take care....

Urmstongran Wed 23-Jan-19 09:34:58

Merry Christmas everyone! Well it looks like a Christmas card out of the windows here - an inch of snow and the roofs covered - really pretty! I have to go out in an hour for an MOT annual blood test. The hospital is where I used to work and it’s only a 20 minute walk away. It will do me good especially if I wear my new boots with soles that look like tank tracks!

Nannytopsy Wed 23-Jan-19 09:30:53

Morning everyone! I agree Mapleleaf - the blue skies are such a lift! It is very frosty still in Leicester at 9.30. French today so I must do my homework ?

megan123 Wed 23-Jan-19 09:25:58

Good morning all. Snow still on the ground but the sun is shining through sunshine.

Have a good day everyone.

Gaggi3 Wed 23-Jan-19 09:24:32

Good morning all. Many dire warnings of snow and ice came to nothing here in Mid Sussex. just dull at the moment, no frost though quite cold.
Looking forward to new Shardlake book too, when I have finished 'Ashes of London' by Andrew Taylor, crime in the capital after the great fire.
Been coughing for a month, does it ever go away?

Mapleleaf Wed 23-Jan-19 09:16:54

Good morning,

It’s a beautiful morning, but very, very, cold with a keen frost. It’s definitely a day to wrap up warm if venturing out, which I must do later.

Cold though it is, it’s so lovely to see a clear blue sky instead of the leaden grey skies of late. I think it lifts the spirits a bit.

Keep warm and cosy, everyone. smile

oldgaijin Wed 23-Jan-19 09:08:37

Greetings all from a very frosty Aberdeenshire. The sky is clear and there is brilliant sunshine, which almost tempts you outside, then you see it's -6.
Bed change and laundry today then coffee and a good book...Have just started the newest C J Sansom, (Shardlake series).
Have a good and safe day everyone.

GrannyGravy13 Wed 23-Jan-19 08:59:14

Good morning all x

The snow has settled in the garden here in SE Essex, but the roads are clear.

Going to the gym this morning to stretch out my back and hopefully ease off the pain.

Keep warm and safe folks

Good morning Auntyflo and all x

Hope everyone has a good day x

BlueSapphire Wed 23-Jan-19 08:31:57

Good morning from a bright and cold Northampton looking pretty with a dusting of snow. Wondering whether to venture out to my walking group this afternoon.
Nothing else much planned for today, except DGDs staying over tonight so that DS and DDIL can go to their monthly pub quiz with DD and DSIL, a nice evening out for them.
Hope everyone stays nice and warm today.

Alygran Wed 23-Jan-19 08:23:56

Good morning. Very frosty here in North Yorkshire. Phone says -5! Sun just coming up in a clear sky.
Oil has just been delivered so that should see me through the cold.
Nothing planned for today but will go out for a walk when it warms up a bit.
Have a good day everyone.

angelic Wed 23-Jan-19 08:20:51

Morning all, from a very cold, Hampshire. We have a covering of snow but it has the ice underneath, so is very slippery.
GD is going to take GS to school, as I am really scared of falling over, more so since a nasty fall in July.
Take care everyone

Greyduster Wed 23-Jan-19 08:16:45

Good morning, Kitty and all GNs. It is a very cold, frosty, clear morning in South Yorkshire. Neither Himself nor I had a good night and both feel wrung out this morning, so I think it will be another slow start and a quiet day. But at least the sun is shining! Have a good day, folks.

Auntieflo Wed 23-Jan-19 08:16:38

Good morning Kitty, Annie and all.
I was so sure that Michael would be back this morning, but wrong!
Hair cut this morning, luckily only a short drive away, and the roads look OK, and we have a little snow lying around.
I haven't seen what the temperatures are, as I am still in bed with my early morning tea.
Have a safe day one and all, and keep warm.
