I'm enjoying it and I know Dgd will when she sees it here next weekend.
I have no idea what Gemma Collins was having a tantrum talking about but her routine was dreadful and so she has to go, surely!

I watched it in between switching from Victor Meldrum and his antics in Portugal. I should have stuck with VM.

I enjoyed it better last year when Jake Quickenden won.

I think everyone had been having a go at Gemma according to the daily fail.

So unfair that Richard Blackman went out when he was clearly a better skater than Gemma Collins. But that's the way it is with a public vote and hopefully the cream will rise to the top towards the end of the series. I just admit I would have more respect for this woman if she dropped the silly pretentious 'GC' diva act and showed a bit of humility. She is neither a celebrity or a star - just a lazy reality show performer with no real talent, famous for being famous. Can't stand these people who make a career out of getting attention. Rant over!

willow has said it all. I'm only watching the summing up of each celebrity & the skate offs so far. That's more than enough for me at present and that way i am all set for Vera.

Gemma will have thousands of fans who love her. She’s going nowhere.

What type of mentality or IQ level would you need to be a "fan" of Gemma ? I dread to think!

The lovely Richard Blackwood was eliminated!! What a real shame.

My thoughts too paddy.
To me, being a fan means finding something to admire or aspire to in that person's life, career or achievements. I simply cannot see anything in this woman's life to admire.
Admittedly I know very little about her as I have never watched a full programme with her. However from time to time she seems to gain such publicity over some antic or other that she is just there.
I'm afraid I avoid shows where she appears - stopped watching Celebrity Masterchef! Am enjoying Dancing on Ice so will simply record and skip her "contribution". Last night she seemed to be dragged round the rink, doing virtually nothing, so it's hard to accept that she's still there when a far better skater was eliminated.

I'm annoyed with myself now for even mentioning her name. This is exactly what she wants - all the attention on her, whilst those that are taking it seriously and working really hard are quietly just getting on with it.

Paddyann, isn't this attention thing now the norm with all the " wannabe's ? I can't be doing with affected characters on film/TV. They have to be in the news------or their " careers " are finished.

I'm not a keen viewer of Dancing on Ice but watched it last night, however it will be the last. I cannot think why the public want to keep Gemma Collins in the show. She is clearly the worst skater there and along with her attitude there's no words for it. Is this what our younger generation really like? God forbid - sorry - rant over.

It's not just the good contestants who are eliminated in favour of her I feel sorry for. It's their professional partners who are putting in so much hard work. It must be really galling for them.

I'll bet the ITV bosses are loving this though!

I have never seen or heard of Gemma Collins in my life but what I have seen I do not like. She should have been removed on week 1. Thankfully the judges have the last vote or she may win because of these morons.

I'm with you paddyann. Dreadful ignorant, drama-queen woman who seems to think she's special, with appalling behaviour. Jason called her lazy and even I can skate better than her, and that's saying something. She should be sacked .... but of course she won't be, not only because for some reason she has loads of fans, but because it will raise viewing numbers to see how she kicks off next! I despair sometimes.

I love watching ice skating but I just don't if I can bear it with her still on the show.

I watched it and feel sad that we do not get to see enough of the talented professional skaters. Obviously part of their skills are showcased in their teaching ability. Poor Matt(?). Will he really want to come back next year after being paired with a partner, Gemma Collins, who is not making the best effort? Jane Danson and all the others are clearly working hard and taking the opportunity to learn a new skill and showcase themselves as hard workers with another side to them. Well done the others. I would love to see more of the professionals performing together.

There must be a terrible atmosphere with that " brat " there. You'll see a big difference when she's gone.

I haven't been watching Dancing on Ice, but did once fleetingly see Gemma Collins on "I'm a C'leb" I think she quit in the first 24 hours. Maybe I'm being unfair to her but I thought she was absolutely awful. I gather she was once in TOWIE, I've never watched that either. Why the hell are these non entities regarded as celebrities I just don't understand their appeal and they diminish that word, a word should apply to those who have some sort of talent other than being a professional idiot

I enjoy "Dancing on Ice" but record it so I can fast forward the ads and the performance (if you can call it that) of that dreadful woman whose name I do not intend to mention!

I feel sorry for her partner, Matt Evers. I`m also missing seeing Dan Whiston skating, now that he`s gone over to the training side.
