Good afternoon,
Very, very windy here today, with some drizzle in the air along with sunny intervals.
SiL had her washing pegged out and was hoping it would still be there when she got back home from church! ?
I'm just finishing my coffee then going to put the stew together in the slow pot for dinner tonight.
Hope you all enjoy a decent day.

Morning all (only just), normal Sunday for me, lie in until 9, read newspapers, have breakfast, crosswords & sudoku to look forward to. As the sun is shining here in Devon a little time in the garden is in order.sunshine

Hope all is well with everyone.

Morning everyone. It’s another gorgeous sunny day here in Malaga. I think (like yesterday) we will go out to eat this afternoon as it’s lovely to stroll along the paseo in the sunshine. And some friends from Manchester came out here to live permanently last month & they have opened a bar so we will go to see them after a late lunch!

Marydoll Sun 13-Jan-19 10:36:44

Good morning all from a windy and wet Glasgow.

I've beeen very busy, this morning. I've been for the papers, stripped the bed, done two loads of washing, made a pot of ham and yellow split pea soup and a batch of Chelsea buns to replace the ones I burned last night!!

I think I deserve a wee sit down with a cuppa and the papers.

Happy Sunday, everyone.

BlueSapphire Sun 13-Jan-19 10:07:25

Morning all from a very windy Northampton, getting a bit brighter.

Nothing planned for today, possibly a bit of decluttering, and tidying up, as I have a busy week.

Successfully renewed my passport on line yesterday, so easy, just got to send the old one off tomorrow.

M &S duck a l'orange tonight for me, am just going to do a sausage butty for breakfast.

Have a good day everyone.

Good morning all x

Grey and windy in SE Essex, but the showers have cleared.

Nothing planned for today, apart from roast pork for dinner with lovely crunchy crackling, naughty but nice.

Wishing you all a peaceful Sunday.

Greetings all from a bright and sunny Aberdeenshire, tho' there has been rain in the night and it's a bit windy.
Out for lunch with friends today...this is the Hogmanay meal that never happened because we were all I'll with colds. I think this is Aul' Eel, old new year, which used to be celebrated in Scotland, so I shall raise a celebratory glass to you all...Slainte!

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. Dull grey and cold in South Yorkshire. It was very windy last night. DH is going to watch GS play football and I am staying away today. I really don’t feel like standing in the cold this morning, so I will stay home and cook a roast beef lunch for their return. Wimp? Me? Absolutely! Have a good day folks!

Good morning, it is mild but very windy and has been all night.
Will visit GC this afternoon as I haven't seen them since Christmas day.

Willow10 Sun 13-Jan-19 08:53:57

Good morning all. It's a mild East Northants with a little bit of blue sky peeping through. Maybe get that washing out after all. How things have changed when we do washing, shopping, ironing etc. any day of the week now. My mum would never have dreamt of putting washing out on a Sunday! Hope it's a good one for everyone.

NannyJan53 Sun 13-Jan-19 08:51:30

Good Morning from a mild, but dull and grey Black Country.

My Partner made a start on taking off the tiles in the kitchen yesterday, and will finish today.

I will go to the gym at some point today.

Roast lamb for dinner tonight!

Have a good day everyone.

Good morning from a mild, grey and breezy Colchester.
A walk to Lidl for the ingredients of a Sunday roast is all that we have planned for today. Saying that, the washing machine and dishwasher are doing their thing and a pile of ironing is staring at me.... So I won't be idle.

Susan56 Sun 13-Jan-19 08:44:42

Hush Sun 13-Jan-19 08:27:38

Morning, having a lazy lie in. Pizza later with step daughter for her birthday.

DoraMarr Sun 13-Jan-19 08:19:10

Good morning Micheal, Annie and everyone. It feels quite mild here in Birmingham, but then, it’s always warm in my apartment! I have a friend coming to lunch today, and later I will go to the cinema at the arts centre to see a French comedy. I didn’t make it to Tai Chi yesterday because I felt so tired, but then my daughter dropped my granddaughter off while they went to buy new sofas, so I had a nice afternoon with her.
Grammaretto, lunch with four generations at an Italian restaurant sounds marvellous!

dragonfly46 Sun 13-Jan-19 08:18:52

Morning Mick, morning All from a getting light and very windy corner of Somerset. No encouragement to get going really. Hope Sunday is kind to everyone.

Grammaretto Sun 13-Jan-19 07:58:52

Good morning all from the Scottish Borders where it's strangely warm and windy.
I should get out of bed.
Lunch with 4 generations later at an Italian restaurant and a garden tour.
I love gardens in winter.
I hope you all have a good week.
