Sounds like my perfect place Rufus. Just need to persuade the whole family they want to emigrate!

Good Evening Mick and Everyone; Another lovely day in Melb. 25C, but unfortunately no rain in sight. Told you that Win 10 is "paneful!"

Nannytopsy; Never, I hope! Sleeping like a log and only wake when my friendly Maggies start warbling for their brekkie at the back door. grin

Good evening from a still hot Sydney. The temperature in the car showed 29 degrees at 10pm!!

Now trying to settle in for the night but it is still so uncomfortable.

Never mind ?

Take care everyone...

Good morning All x
A bit breezy in Wirral this morning but dull though dry.
Only a bit of local shopping today as I did a large shop on Tuesday. Haven't a clue what's in the freezer so I'll have to explore that later.

Each day is now a step nearer to seeing D and SiL who are visiting from Oz in June. It's 8 years since I've seen them.
I must keep myself well for that occasion..

My Win10 lost me half of my screen last night so I fiddled around until I got it back to normal. I'd much rather have the old Vista 7.

Hope all remains well with everyone. Enjoy your day.

Good morning from a very windy NE.
Staying home today in the hope my back eases.
Michael unless you have very high spec computer with large memory installing Windows 10 is a nightmare, it will take what it requires at the cost of other programmes. My laptop bought with Windows 10 pre-installed has worked like a dream from day 1. Good luck getting it sorted.

Hello from a dull east London -weather that is. Waiting for the external decorator to turn up -he's already over an hour late. No tennis today but a community ward meeting at lunchtime so no doubt lots of discussion re parking control zones. Tonight the choir I sing with repeats its contribution to the Waltham Forest year of culture opening (maw broon, don't know if you've seen the lights). Great to have a major road pedestrianised, just shame it's so cold.

Nannytopsy Sat 12-Jan-19 09:35:28

A late good morning to you all. Dull and damp in Leicester. They say you need less sleep and wake very early as you get older. When does that start please?? ?

aggie Sat 12-Jan-19 09:21:34

Morning All , dull and mild , wee breeze . Slept in again this am .
I hope we don't get another "Beast" , my plants are putting out tentative greenery so I keep telling them to hunker down !

Good morning Auntyflo and all x

Hope everyone has a good day x

Good Morning from a milder but very damp Black Country.

No real plans today, we may have a walk into town for an Aldi shop. Then some housework probably!

Pittcity I lived in a village near Colchester for a year in 1975/76, DS was born in Clacton on Sea Hospital. We used to visit Colchester regularly, always meant to go back one day, but never have.

Hope you can sort your PC problem Mick, never say yes to anything until you have thought long and hard smile

Have a good day everyone.

A very late good morning from Birmingham. Dull out there this morning. Waiting for my breakfast, then off to Kings Norton farmers’ market with my partner, then home. I have Tai Chi this afternoon, then I will call in on one or both of my daughters. No hospital today- I get the weekends off!
Micheal, I hope you can fix your computer. I gave up on windows and have a MacBook.

Pittcity Sat 12-Jan-19 08:50:24

Good morning from a grey but milder than of late Colchester.
Going for a drive up the Suffolk coast and a pub lunch today as we have a free weekend and hibernation was getting boring.
Hope Mick is able to restore order as computer problems can be time consuming and frustrating.

Good morning from Lancashire where it's cloudy and damp.
Have a good Saturday everyone.

Good morning everyone,
greyduster has the weather forecast spot on for here - dark and dismal.
Mick, I hope you get your computer sorted. If you get stuck, someone on the technology forum might be able to help. I'm afraid I'm not very good at that sort of thing!?
DH just got home for the weekend. He says the run wasn't too bad, just drizzly all the way up.
Got to go into town today to do a few chores and drop DH's brother off at the station.
Hope your day is a good one. ?

Good morning from a damp and overcast Aberdeenshire. Am meeting five former workmates this morning for coffee and a blether. One of them never stops moaning, but we all agree that we are happy that we no longer work for the NHS.
Have a great day everyone.

Good morning all - hoping for a better day than yesterday!

mumofmadboys Sat 12-Jan-19 08:08:08

Sitting in bed with cuppa. Love these slow starts to days since retirement! Has rained overnight in Cumbria

Brunette10 Sat 12-Jan-19 08:03:08

Good Morning to everyone. Dark and damp here in Fife today but no matter. Have decorating to complete today then a good tidy up which is a good thing. Marydoll sounds as if you had not a very good night, just toddle off back to bed smile. Hope everyone has a good day.

GrannyGravy13 Sat 12-Jan-19 08:02:34

Good morning all x

Good morning Anniebach xx

Haven’t opened the curtains yet? We are having a quiet day, popping down to local shops then just pottering in doors.

I feel your pain Mick, I am a technophobe and all my devices know it!!!!

Have a good day all ????

MawBroon Sat 12-Jan-19 07:59:54

Good morning all from Walthamstow. SIL2 came home from Hong Kong early (very) this morning and I could hear a little voice ordering “Daddy come downstairs play my cars NOW”! (DGS doesn’t do prepositions)
No idea of the weather - blackout blinds on the windows! Going to the Young Vic to see DD’s play The Convert this afternoon with DD3, SIL3 and sisters in law after lunch at Meson Don Felipe (diet? What diet?)
Wishing you all a pleasant Saturday.

Greyduster Sat 12-Jan-19 07:59:09

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. Mick you have my sympathy - technology trips me up at every turn! Hope you get your programmes back! Still dark in South Yorkshire, and it has been raining in the night. We are going to watch GS run cross country in the City Championships this morning. He is running early so the ground should not be too bad. Then we have to rush home as DS is coming to lunch! Have a good day, folks!

Marydoll Sat 12-Jan-19 07:56:15

Good morning Mick and all.

Sorry to hear about Windows Mick. If all else fails, the only solution may be to reinstall.

I'm Mrs Grumpy this morning. Mr MDoll , hogged the covers, tossed and turned all night and a one point landed on my very painful hand. ? The worst bit, he is showing no remorse!!!!!!

DIL is off to a hen do tonight, (which she is dreading) , so DS1 and DGD are coming for takeaway. We are so looking forward to it, as we rarely see our son on his own.

Have a good day, all.

annsixty Sat 12-Jan-19 07:50:45

Good Morning all.
A wet and windy night in Stockport.
I am still in bed but have a little cat telling me it's time for breakfast.
Dora I will message you after my breakfast.

Willow10 Sat 12-Jan-19 07:49:34

Good morning all. Hope you get your computer sorted Mick, very frustrating. Chilly and breezy in East Northants. Bed stripped, washing on - no plans so it looks like a pottering sort of day.
