Good morning (almost afternoon), late getting up this morning after a very tiring day yesterday. I had to go to Taunton for a DVLA Medical, 50 miles from home & mid morning appointment. Day improved as I drove over to visit friends near Yeovil & then 60+miles home. Woke to a lovely but cold day. I will move myself shortly & do something!!. Have a good day all.

Morning all. I got up late due to a hard day yesterday out in the fresh air cycling. Today its bright, clear and cold in North Somerset and I am going out in a it to meet my husband who has gone to pilates , just like you Bobdoesit! I a too lazy. Have a lovely day all

Bobdoesit Thu 10-Jan-19 10:24:19

Morning all,
greyish in Somerset.
Pilates for me this morning, I've not been for seven month (due to ill health) so am feeling a little scared. Just hope I can still do it. smile

Hello everyone! Hope your days have started well. Just wanted to share my Eureka moment in the garden. I've an ongoing problem with moss on paths made much worse by using a pressure hose. I've just had a go at it whilst it has a coat of frost on top. Gosh, it came off a treat. I managed 20 minutes and achieved 'wow'. Can't wait to get out again once I've reconstituted. Probably most of you have known this for years. I've joined you. Hallelujah!

Good morning everyone! Good luck with the ear bashing Kitty. Touching up paintwork today after the stairgate was on for so long over Christmas, then first choir of the year tonight. I shall go but if I sing, they will move me back a couple of rows into the basses! I shall be so glad when I finally stop coughing!

Good morning everyone from a grey, cold Essex by the sea. Hair cut later then taking OH for his physio appointment. Nothing else planned for today.

oldgaijin Thu 10-Jan-19 09:11:03

Greetings all from a chilly but frost free Aberdeenshire. Diabetic clinic part 2 this morning, then a quick swoop past supermarket for some essentials, before home to finish yesterday's ironing.
Must get up and do the wee in a bottle. Hope all goes well today, DoraMarr.

Morning Michael, Annie and all.
Cold and a bit frosty here, but haven’t poked my nose outside yet, just what I can see.
Dr’s appointment in about an hour, for a vitamin B12 injection.
Then off to visit friends in Windsor for coffee.
Other than than, nothing planned.
A good day to one and all.

Good morning from the Scottish Borders.
Quiet looking outside. A hospital trip later with DH but I'm not rushing.
I stayed up too late last night finishing my knitting so I can post it off and it will still fit the intended baby.

Good morning all from Glasgow, it's 7 degrees, but feels much colder.

We have to check on DS's empty flat, as DS is "too busy"! It is impossible to park near it, so that will be my workout for the day. grin
After that, as day pottering about and then picking up DGD from nursery.
Best wishes for the hospital, Dora, Brunette, don't be spending too much. and Kitty ,enjoy your day out.
Have a good day everyone.

Good morning from frosty Shepperton.
Helped H scape car of frost at 5.50 this morning, otherwise was going to be late for train, needless to say I promptly went back to bed an am still here.
Sending abundant good wishes to you all, whatever you are doing today.

Good Morning to you all and to those who follow. Still fairly dark outside in Fife at the moment but looks quite damp. Have a day’s shopping planned today on my own, a day to myself. Food shopping first then a lovely browse around a favourite local shop. Looking forward to it. For all those still feeling under the weather take care. I hope everyone has a good day.

Book club this evening.

Good morning from a chilly Colchester.
Another bits and bobs day. Shopping, ironing etc.

harrigran Thu 10-Jan-19 08:02:30

Good morning, itnis 5 degrees here which is way warmer than last night.
My sympathy kitty, I know what you mean about the 'talking for England', my sister is like that. I had a duvet day yesterday after being with said sister the day before, I was totally exhausted.
A spider, the size of a mouse, ran past me last night and I jumped and put my back out so I guess it will be another day of inactivity.

loopylou Thu 10-Jan-19 08:01:39

Good morning everyone from frosty north Wiltshire- heavier frost than yesterday here so very glad I'm not going anywhere today.
Quiet day, apart from ironing nothing planned ?

Gagagran Thu 10-Jan-19 07:56:34

Good Morning all from a frosty south coast. DH had put a cover over the car last night when I got back from choir so we were not iced up but all the other nearby cars were/are.

We have done the weekly supermarket run and are now having breakfast, with not much else planned for today. The supermarket was very quiet and I can only suppose the frost had put people off an early start.

Hope everyone enjoys their outings, lunches etc. It's supposed to get milder tomorrow, hopefully! sunshine

Urmstongran Thu 10-Jan-19 07:51:53

Morning everyone! Sunny and yesterday’s wind has died down here in Malaga. No plans and glad too as I’ve woken up with a sore throat. Got my first cuppa of the day.
Good luck DoraMarr with your second radiotherapy appointment.

Nata Thu 10-Jan-19 07:50:52

Good morning everyone and may ya'll have a nice day! XX

Good morning from a very chilly East Northants. Archery was miserably cold yesterday - the temperature in the leisure centre sports hall never went above 13.3 c, despite the fact that it should be 18 to 22c. All other rooms were well heated. Manager tucked away in his nice warm office was too 'busy' to speak to us, so one of our ladies has reported it to environmental health. We await the outcome with bated breath! Today I'm visiting a friend in her new home for coffee and chat. Hope it's a pleasant day for all.
