I have never.....!

I have never backed a caravan or trailer. Have enough trouble with my little car as several unfortunate letterboxes can attest. But I found someone who is really, really terrific at backing, so all is well.

The two things I have never done is drink a cup of tea, just the smell makes me feel sick and been in the loft. In fact I think my husband has a secret life in the loft he is always up there. The rest I have at least tried including riding a horse, it scared me stiff and after six lessons gave up.

Never had a real romance,married too young.never had success at work,travelled alone,learned to dance. Never had a dog,belonged to a women's club,watched rugby,had a tidy house. Never been skiing, diving or mountain climbing. Probably never will now. Did I miss out?

I suppose that depends on what you did instead, kircubbin2000!

My never always seem to be around food. I have never eaten a burger, pasta or pizza. I have never had egg and tomato on the same plate and Ican never had baked beans on a fork unless there is something else too.

I have never ridden a horse or skied - these used to be for rich kids, didn't they?

Also I have never taken illegal drugs, probably because they have never been offered to me.

One I forgot, watched “Game of thrones”

I have so many 'nevers', but a lot of 'have-dones' too. My one main regret is never conquering my fear of water, after being pushed in the diving=pool, as a child. Two courses of lessons couldn't break my panicky feelings. I have abseiled down cliffs, though!

I have never bungee jumped, abseiled a rock face or been on one of those terrifying, gravity defying rides at a fairground.

Apart from over the counter fish & chips, I've never had a takeaway and, as for having one delivered, wouldn't know where to start. Probably much too mean anyway!

MissAdventure Never used straighteners myself as my hair is poker straight. However my hairdresser does use them on my hair, beyond me to figure out why.

Never dropped litter - even so much as a sweet wrapper or lollipop stick.

Hi there, Just to say my first fiancé had a beard so I have kissed a man with a beard and it was nice.
Also, when we used to host foreign students one little Russian boy was taken fishing by the school and returned with a fish which he asked us to cook. Never having gutted a fish before we looked up how to do it on YouTube and followed the instructions there. The fish was successfully cooked and eaten, and Sergey was thrilled.
If you can't so something look it up. Since hubby died I have used YouTube to rewire a plug, learned how to PROPERLY tie a tie, etc.

I have never used an automated car wash. I'm afraid I won't stop in the right place, or I'll stop too close to the brushes.

By the way hubby and I went on our very first skiing trip when he was 64 and I was 63. We both learned to ski but not beyond beginner level. Since he died I have been on a lot of adventure holidays, such as Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands, (where I snorkled for the first time and climbed a volcano), Vietnam, and Brazil, As I am now 77 my advice to anyone wanting to do these things is go with a well known travel company which runs escorted holidays. I have various disabilities and everybody running these trips are all so kind and helpful.
I have never been to a music festival and on opening my latest Sago brochure I see they actually do a trip which includes one. Their guests get put up in glamping tents with loos. So I might yet go.

I’ve never voted Tory, had a hangover, or learnt to swim. I had the opportunity to learn to swim, but didn’t want to. No regrets about that.

I have never set or emptied a mouse trap. As we live in an old farm house it does need done at times. But I have bordering on a phobia about mice and don’t start me on rats. I have to lock myself in the bathroom if a mouse trap is being emptied!

Right everyone ! Make your " haven't done " list ( not too extreme) and this year DO IT ! You may find a treasure in the loft , or find you were a boffin at cars or electric things , you may join a Rock Choir ( this I would recommend as great fun , ) or do something outlandish .... but this year DO I T !
