Good Morning Friday

Morning Mick, morning All from a chilly, frosty corner of Somerset. Admin catchup and a food shop for me today. Hope Friday is kind to everyone.

Just getting lighter in cold, calm South Bucks.

Off to meet a friend for lunch in Old Amersham. It once was, and still is in a way, oldie worldie town where Miss Marple could have been seen walking along the High Street. However it it has sadly lost its post office, chemist, no banks. There are a few luxury/novelty type shops in a little arcade, well they were there last time I visited but I suspect they too will have gone. It does have one big Tesco and that’s it.

Just back from taking Partner to train station and it is very cold!

Taking the Christmas Decorations down today, usually do it New Years Day, but we were away.

Booking a little holiday for myself and Mum to a Warners Hotel in June.

DD and family should be moving to a village about 12 miles from me in February at last! They sold their house in June.

Good morning Micheal, Annie and everyone. Dark here in Birmingham, with a cold, sunny day forecast. My baby grandson is still asleep, so I’m having my early morning tea in peace. It was lovely looking after both grandchildren yesterday, but very tiring! I’m looking forward to having just one today. Not much planned apart from a walk in the park today.

Too dark to tell the weather yet. Handing GC over to their uncle for the day whilst mummy works then they go back tomorrow. Schools in this area started yesterday but they're not at school until Monday.
Need to do a big food shop, my fridge/larder has never been so bare

It's very cold in North Leicestershire but it is dry.

We have had 3 dgd here overnight and, sssshhh, they are all still in bed.

Not a lot happening today apart from trying to keep control!!
