Good morning, -1 here with frost on the cars.
Diabetes prevention session this morning, thankfully just fifteen minutes from home.
Not going shopping.

Good morning All x
Still darkish here considering the time but no frost around ( I don't think ) as it's cloudy today.
Still sneezing my head off after a week of it but at least it's coming out I suppose.
D popping in today on one of her rare days off from work.

I can't sit with the tree/decorations still up they're getting on my nerves now so down they come and boxed away.

All have a good day.

Good morning Mick, Annie and all. Had a very busy day on Tuesday with family here. Chaotic, noisy, but so lovely all being together. The brothers, sisters and many and varied children don't manage it often, so it was extra special.
Having the littlies here, made me realise that I just couldn't do childcare, as so many of you manage to do. Well done.
Then yesterday there was just youngest son who stayed over with daughter in law and their little one. We visited a small air museum. Not many there so we had it practically to ourselves and all the enthusiatic volunteers. Smashing.
Still in bed with my first cuppa, but thinking of getting up and sorting out the house. But not hurrying.
Have a good day one and all.

Good morning.

Dentist for me and another doctors appointment for DH’s hip!

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. It is dreary and cold in South Yorkshire although they have forecast a bright day later. I am waiting for GS to come over. His dad will drop him off on the way to work. Swimming today and the I plan to let him cook lunch - we’ll see how that goes. Whatever else we do I hope it will not be as muddy as Monday!
Looks like your win is going straight into your dentists pocket, Gaga ☹️! Have a good day, folks.

Good mornig from a cold Glasgow, it's just above freezing.

Good news about your results Mick. DH and I need to be losing weight and it starts today.

Off out early for abit of shopping, then decorations taken down.

Gaga, good luck with the denstist, you have reminded me to make an appointment.

Have a pleasant day, everyone.

Morning all! It's a very calm, dry, morning here on the south coast and definitely not cold. Very dark though.

Just back from a fairly big supermarket shop - the cupboards seemed a bit bare as I had not stocked up with being out a lot over the festive period.

I have a dental appointment this morning to replace the temporary crown which has lasted over Christmas with no problem. Another crown on the other side has been very jumpy though so I expect it will involve further treatment and expense. Hey ho.

Mustn't grumble as I have won 3x£25 on the premium bonds and DH has won 4x£25. Hope that's a good sign for 2019!

Have a good day everyone.

Good Morning everyone and to those who follow. It's very cold and frosty here today in Fife and I believe its to be like over the next few days which suits me. No signs of Christmas in the house now, everything is away and will complete cleaning up today. Been awake since 4 am for some reason. DH has doctor's appointment this morning then coffee and chat with friends in the afternoon. I hope the day is well to everyone.

Good Morning from a very cold but frost free Black Country.

Arrived back yesterday from a lovely few days in Stamford, spending the New Year with my friend. Stamford is a lovely little town, very 'Cotswold like'

My Mum is 89 today, so 11 of the family (those not back at work or retired smile) are celebrating with a lunch with her at a lovely country pub.

You have done really well Mick not easy this time of year.

Have a good day everyone.

Morning Mick, morning All. Dark and chilly in our corner of Somerset. Mr C is sneezing, oh dear. Unexpected second day of childcare ahead, not sure what we’ll be doing. Hope Thursday is kind to everyone.

NfkDumpling Thu 03-Jan-19 07:25:10

Morning All

Decidedly cooler here in Norfolk.

Off to do my volunteering stint today. Many of the schools around here are back so fewer children so it’ll be quieter and a change in pace as visitors come through slower!

Willow10 Thu 03-Jan-19 07:19:28

Good morning all. Dark and chilly this morning. Well done Mick!

Sat in a cafe waiting for a friend yesterday, whilst she sat waiting for me in another one! I hadn't realised there were two within a short distance! We got together eventually though. Was planning to shop for a warm winter cost afterwards, but the chaotic traffic changed my mind! I will try again this morning. Hope it's a good day for all.

Morning all from a dark and chilly North Leicestershire. We are currently watching CBBC and drinking tea in bed with Bertie.

Our cleaners are coming later, then someone to collect the ironing. I'm not really lazy but life is escaping from me at the moment.

Two more dgd arriving this pm to stay overnight and tomorrow.

NanKate Thu 03-Jan-19 07:06:51

MorningMick and All.

Well done Mick for losing weight at Christmas, can’t have been easy.

Catching up on paperwork etc today which is not my favourite task but needs to be done. Will get a short walk in too as I can easily get cabin fever.

So dark here and cold. When are the lighter mornings going to start?

DoraMarr Thu 03-Jan-19 07:03:54

Good morning from a still- dark Birmingham, with just a hint of blush in the eastern sky. My two year old grandaughter stayed the night yesterday, and my one year old grandson will be arriving later for the day, so I will have both of them today ( both regular childminders are ill.) So, my plans for today have been curtailed.
Good news about your diabetes, Micheal. I hope everyone has a good day!

BlueSapphire Thu 03-Jan-19 06:52:53

Good morning all. Too dark to see what it's like in Northampton this morning, but the forecast promises a cold day.
Tree and decorations down yesterday, house dusted and hoovered and now looks very bare.
Need to get out today after two days indoors, so think I'll be off to Milton Keynes on the bus.

ninathenana Thu 03-Jan-19 06:31:25

Good morning Mick and everyone.

Don't think it's frosty here in Kent although the gritters were out last night.
Took the decs down yesterday, so some cleaning to be done. Nothing else planned.
Have a good day GN's

Good Morning Everyone,
Its dark, and frosty here in brackley this morning , yesterdays diabetes result its gone down to 6.4 and weight loss as well.
I think taking the black seed oil twice a day may have helped?
Mick
