Nostradamus for 2019

Floods of great magnitude, some countries affected ?

Great Britain is one .

Think best I delay my therapy for overcoming agoraphobia until 2020 , yes ?

Anniebach Sun 30-Dec-18 15:11:18

I am still trying to work out ‘the yellow cat and the cowardly cur’

So the yellow cat is a woman who wears lots of yellow and the cowardly cur is her husband , she will take all his money (eat his food) , the body is called a temple , if a man with too much weight it could be his temples , allowing for a rather big tummy and a couple of spare tyres .

But who are they ?

DoraMarr Sun 30-Dec-18 15:19:03

When I moved here I was always pleased to show visitors “the mighty rushing river Rea” which I could, on a good day, jump across. However, I was refused house insurance by the company I’d insured with for many years because of the risk of flooding.

I live in a 5th floor apartment.

Anniebach Sun 30-Dec-18 15:21:15

Crap? I put a lot of thinking into it BlueBell doesn’t come easy to me

I think Ant and Dec are closer than brothers.
They were next door neighbours for years.
Not any more though.. eerie!

mcem Sun 30-Dec-18 15:25:01

Bloomin' heck! Another variation on not working!

Anniebach Sun 30-Dec-18 15:48:34

DoraMay , best you warn those on the ground floor ?

Elegran Sun 30-Dec-18 15:50:52

"annie" I made up the yellow cat etc, so it means nothing which means that you can make it mean anything you like. Boris pinching Theresa's job and wrecking the country? China taking trade from countries who don't fight for their share? Donald denying immigrants support and undermining the church with his unChristian attitudes?

Take your pick from these and a hundred more.

EllanVannin Sun 30-Dec-18 15:54:09

Anyone remember Old Moore's Almanac ?

EllanVannin Sun 30-Dec-18 15:54:47

It'll either rain or go dark before morning.

Anniebach Sun 30-Dec-18 15:56:30

Elegran I realised that, I was tired of so many threads here today, I just thought I would at least cheer someone up.

Elegran Sun 30-Dec-18 16:01:40

Didn't mean to teach you to suck eggs, Annie

Anniebach Sun 30-Dec-18 16:06:57

I enjoyed a silly few minutes Elegran ?

Grannybags Sun 30-Dec-18 17:06:53

Thanks for this thread Annie - been making me giggle (and Bluebell with her crap trouble...!)

Anniebach Sun 30-Dec-18 17:15:50

Grannybags. Please note BlueBell’s ‘ Crap’ followed one of my posts, I agree grin

mcem Sun 30-Dec-18 17:19:08

In the prevailing spirit of some of today's other threads I'd like to point out.
Light-hearted remarks should not be made on serious threads! (and vice versa)
Posters should not be mocked for having crap problems!
Cryptic posts about cars and curs could offend the ultra-sensitive.
Any poster who does not agree with you 100% should be reported to GNHQ.
Anyone who takes any vestige of this seriously really should go and pour a large g+t - or a cup of tea if alcohol consumption upsets you.
(Thanks annie for an amusing thread!)

Anniebach Sun 30-Dec-18 17:30:02

Thank you mcem , even Nostradamus is calmer than many threads , but I haven’t finished reading it yet, hope I don’t have to post ‘the end of the world is nigh* ?

toscalily Sun 30-Dec-18 17:38:50

Yes thank you Annie, this has made me laugh out loud.
