Morning all!

North Leicestershire is dark and dry but we had rain over night.

Lots of bits and bobs to do today.

Good Morning Mick, absent, Willow, corner and everyone!

We are forecast a sunny and mild day here on the south coast which suits me just fine. DH is off out with the bike club and I need a library trip to stock up for the next 10 days. I have to have a good supply of books as I often find I have read a book previously, once I start reading.

Like you Mick, I am doing a small gammon joint today which will feed us for a day or two.

The road outside is finished after months of disruption and dirt. It looks good and the traffic is moving freely. It is only a B road but is the main road from the north of the area into our lovely little harbour town. A good Christmas present to we residents for sure! tchgrin

Morning Mick, morning All from a dark and dry corner of Somerset. Hope to finish the last food bits today and do some cleaning. Hope Saturday is kind to everyone.

Good morning Mick and all who follow. Youngest son is doing Christmas this year so wants me to meet him at the supermarket at 7 am! I went to bed early, only to be woken by him texting me - twice - so then couldn't get back to sleep. Don't you just love them! Have a good day everyone.

Hi 12Michael,

I haven't responded to you in a while. It's Saturday evening here and I am worn out by last week. We have had ridiculous amounts of rain here, considering it's summer time, but today has been warm and sunny and I guess I'd better go and get my laundry off the line. Have a happy Christmas and a lovely New Year.
