Good Morning Everyone,
Its dark and wet here in brackley this morning , and its an interesting day , as the main Brackley to Banbury road has become open again after a bridge repair which has lasted 5 months , hopefully buses etc back to normal .

Greetings from Buckinghamshire! Makes a change from Aberdeenshire...a bit warmer down here but windy this morning. Had a good flight down yesterday, but why does travelling make you so tired?
My bed has just been invaded by two grandkids and the dog...lovely!
Am thinking of all those cakes being iced today...Have a good day all

Good morning, it is grey and damp here in the NE.
The diabetes prevention session yesterday was interesting as the educator was a Tom Hardy look-a-like. Our course started with ten participants, now in the third week we are down to five people attending.
Must do some shopping today.

Good morning.
Well, it seems to have stopped raining here for the moment, but it's very damp, grey and dismal.
Going out shortly to visit a friend and give her her birthday present for tomorrow as she's going away for a few days this afternoon, and I would like her to have her gift before she goes.
DH is home this afternoon for the Christmas break. Looking forward to having him home. It gets lonely for us both whilst he's away all week.
Just prepped all the ingredients for the stew so when I've drunk my tea, I'll add them all to the slow pot and let it work it's magic.

Oh Marydoll, you bring a big smile to my face. Unfortunately wasn't gifted with the art of sewing, in fact there's not a lot I can do. Maybe virtually send them over and see what I can do though. tchwink

Morning everyone. Just had scrambled eggs, toast and coffee. DH said he’s off to the rugby scrum - he’s offered to do an Aldi shop today for one of our daughters. I will wrap the presents while he’s out.
I giggled at the thought of these un-iced Christmas cakes. No matter how organised we are, sometimes life gets in the way of life!

Good Morning.
It is mild but windy here in Norfolk. It has been quite mild here and there are still calendula and erigions blooming in the garden. Holly trees and cotoneaster full of berries.

Hey, didn't anyone realise - it's the shortest day!!!!

EllanVannin Fri 21-Dec-18 13:40:25

I did,AlieOxon. Hooray.

NB. Had posted earlier regarding waiting for a parcel via an email from D in Oz. Well it arrived not long ago-----half of Bodyshop ! It'll take me all year to use it.

The said BBQ that she was preparing would sadly have been marred by golf-ball size hailstones which hit Sydney and has caused millions in damage as these things dent cars and also cause injury if you are unfortunate to be out in them.

Good day to you all, I was up and out early tis morning for an appointment. I intended to do my food shopping but gave up the will to live with the crowds in the shops and traffic on the roads and also trying to find somewhere to park. So back home now and will go out this evening. Its bright but damp.

Harrigran I’m envious. Tom Hardy lookalike? ?
