Meghan holding bump?

It's the gutter press as usual picking out something that they think or know will start a media storm. Predictably, it has !
Pathetic.

Unfair to blame the press, the tv news covers the official visits which is them shown on the news, no media storm , some looking at her with both arms around the bump think it quite normal , some think it over the top, no different to views on clothes worn on official visits .

I often cradle my bump; unfortunately its only a lump of fat on my stomach. I have a lot in common with Meg., we both like a lovely long coat in winter, but recoil from her persistent smiley glow, preferring the old grouch wintry smile of our own dear Queen.

If it wasn't for the press Annie, we wouldn't have such news.

I had a colleague who cradled her bump from the first moment it showed. She also rubbed the top of the bump almost continuously which, for some unknown reason, annoyed people around her. Pregnant women are awash with hormones and subject to all sorts of conflicting wanted/unwanted advice and comments. They don't get congratulated enough for achieving and maintaining a pregnancy, for which many will find their minds and bodies acting and reacting in strange or unexpected ways. Let them have their moments of comfort, joy and hope for the future, however they want to express it.

The Photographers want that sort of photo. She was a celebrity for many years before becoming a Royal, responding to the media is second nature to her.

The world is going to hell in a handcart.... meanwhile we have 9 pages on Meghan holding her baby bump!

MM is no different to other young pregnant women in wearing tight fitting clothes, rather than the awful tents most of us spent several months in. Did they disguise our pregnancy, course they didn't. My daughters and their friends all look fine in their tight fitting clothes - good for them.

I liked my pinafores and maternity dresses Iam they hid a multitude of sins, not all to do with pregnancy.

Fair enoughski lemon, I look at photographs of the 70's with me wearing pink flowing frocks made by my mum and think I'd have looked/felt a whole lot better in one of those black skinny tops girls wear now. These days of course, I'd look shocking, much better in some kind of flowing frock or tunic

I had a particularly nice dark green paisley pattern dress, I loved it.
I have no objection to seeing baby bumps, after all, you could still see them in maternity clothes, but the stretched tight fit to burst tops and dresses worn now just look uncomfortable for the wearer.
Fashions come and go though, and maternity wear will no doubt go through all sorts of changes in the future.

Thinking about pregnancy.....glad I’m way too old for it.

I don't know how those really older women do it to get in the record books. Surely they must be really drained ?

How would anyone know if she is acting ,? Why are some wanting to inflate the assumption that she must be. ?Have we still not learnt anything from the past?
Perhaps those who are critical should take the advice they frequently dish out to others, if you don’t like something, don’t watch it or read about it, to do so just to find a critical element seems to me to be rather spiteful!

Well I guess I meant if we don’t like something or someone don’t torture ourselves by looking or reading about them.

I certaintly don’t torture myself over a woman such as Megan, I join in discussions and post my opinions , this isn’t torture I assure you.
