Is it me or is anyone else fed up with seeing pictures of Meghan, Duchess of Sussex holding onto her bump, it has been constant since day1 of the announcement.now I am not averse to seeing pregnancy bumps , in fact it can be lovely, but I truly feel it’s almost as if she is acting all the time. It is starting to really grate on me , I wish someone would tell her to stop!!!

I hadn’t actually noticed Meghan holding her bump until this thread. Now I can’t stop noticing. I’d assumed she was afraid her tummy muscles weren’t strong enough! Its a relief to know she’s just following the latest trend of foetus communication.

It’s her bump so if the poor woman wants to hold it then what business is it of anybody else?

Pretty disgusted that the OP thinks this is worthy of her criticism. Petty, petty, petty ??

Jalima1108, surely not the compost bin for your bananas. How about Banana Bread, Cake, etc?

She was holding her bump before there was a bump , when in Australia

But she knew she was pregnant Anniebach, and I imagine she was so delighted that she just couldn’t help herself! Maybe Catherine would have been the same had she been out and about in the early stages instead of being so ill with pregnancy vomiting! Which as I recall she also received criticism for! As Anja said, is it really anyone else’s business?

The Royals often say they have problems knowing where to put their hands when on official duty. If you have something to focus on - like a pregnancy bump it solves the problem.

She'd look a bit daft marching along like Prince Phillip with her hand behind her back.

Never notice queenie, Anne, Kate having problems of knowing where to put their hands and never noticed them walk with their hands behind their backs

Too yummy Auntieflo and I am trying to get rid of the excess weight from Christmas! It's hopeless to do that in January with all the 'tidying up' of food to do.
Actually, DH must have eaten one of the very brown bananas this morning [yuk]

Are you Aunt Flo from the Bod tv series?
Here comes Aunt Flo. It's her baking day

Harry puts his hand in his jacket, I'm sure Charles used to do that too.

Perhaps she always clasps her hands together in front of her and the bump is now simply getting in the way. She needs a handbag.

I touched and held mine constantly. Didn't occur to me to think or care what anyone else thought? It was a bonding/protective thing.

Possibly the tight dresses are the reason celebs hold their bumps

Jalima1108 Tue 05-Feb-19 18:26:31

I used to push one of mine, she always seemed to get a foot, well it could have been a knee or a fist, stuck up under my ribs (quite painful!).

Jalima1108 Tue 05-Feb-19 18:27:04

although I never wore a tight dress Anniebach!

Anniebach Tue 05-Feb-19 18:51:52

Jalima the knee or fist under the ribs ouch.

I loved touching , stroking , talking to my bumps, but not walking around shops or through town , I loved the cosyness of these in my home
