Which is more on your mind at the moment, Brexit or Christmas?

Christmas - not that I absolutely love it, but simply that with Brexit, we have no say in what happens. I'm sick to death of hearing about it. It's been dragging on for 2 years too long already.

Brexit. I can control and organise Christmas but feel helpless to influence Brexit.

We are all powerless to do anything about Brexit. What's the point in thinking too much about it?

Definitely Christmas, our political elite are in it for themselves, therefore, I am doing things for myself and family

Christmas------for a change. We need a break from Brexit until at least Boxing Day !

Christmas I know it is going to happen but Brexit might not (I live in hope!)

Sadly Brexit. I know Xmas will arrive but not too sure we will ever get the Brexit we were promised.

We won't newnanny, that was never going to happen.

Christmas. I know how important it is, but I can't bear hearing about it any more. I'm regularly driven from my own sitting room, since dh is addicted to endlessly hearing every last detail on TV or R4 news.

I don't mind admitting that I told dinner guests last Friday - after someone mentioned the B-word - that for the sake of the hot-stove-slaving cook (me) this house was a Brexit-free zone for the evening.

Family/Christmas - how will they cope with it this year?

My small act of rebellion is not to send cards to those I know voted for Brexit. That'll show 'em.

I agree with you Trisher. Christmas will be over and done with 2 weeks from now. Brexit is for at least another 3 months.
Unless someone has the nous to cancel Article 50 first to stop the panic

Definitely Christmas , family and friends. I am so sick of Brexit and self centred politicians.
I do have niggling worries though about what will happen to us (we) expats.

The practicalities of Christmas, I suppose, but I do follow the political farce on television. It would be quite amusing if it weren’t so tragic.

Surely something will prevent Brexit or at least modify it? I may be dead by the time the effects of Brexit show much, but my children and grandchildren probably won’t be. I am permanently furious with those who voted for it.

If you think Brexit is for another 3 months I think you’ll be disappointed. I read somewhere that it will be causing issues for at least 15 years!
