Where is Book Heaven?

We have a charity called FARA in my local high street, who have two shops, one is a dedicated book shop and as such is more impressive for second hand books than the other charity shops, so I take my books there. Apart from charity shops, as others have stated, I imagine libraries might be pleased to have books donated.

Have you got a homeless shelter or women's refuge near you? Maybe a local residential home would be interested in taking some? If so might be worth asking them.

We were fortunate last month, we had to "cull" our books due to house renovations and our charity shop took them all.

Do you have a community centre or residential home near you. They are always grateful for books etc.

Our local Tesco has started a book swap, they have just put a book shelf unit inside the store where customers can leave or select books they like. If you don’t have one maybe your library might take some.
