Good morning to you all.
It's bright, breezy and chilly here. A lovely day for a walk if well wrapped up.
So sorry to hear about your dog, ginny. Our pets are precious members of our family, too. ?
I hope that your little GS is home, soon Brunette and that your DH improves soon, ffinochio - worrying times for both of you. ?
Marydoll, it sounds like you've got a good storyline for a comedy script about the sagas of your kitchen. I can't get the image of the plumber stuck behind the oven out of my mind! ? Seriously, though, it's been going on for so long now that I do hope it is all complete this weekend. ?
Those of you off on your outings today, have a lovely time.
Take care everyone.

Morning Mick, Annie and all. It’s raining here, but not too bad at the moment.
To all who have health problems, I wish you well, and also to Brunette’s baby GS.
I have made some Apricot and Nutmeg muffins, and they look alright. A lot better than my disasters a couple of weeks ago.
A friend is coming for coffee, and DH is off to try and get a Dr’s appointment.
Have a good day and enjoy your weekends.

kittylester Fri 26-Oct-18 09:22:08

Ffin, I'm sorry, I have missed any posts about your DH. I do hope he improves. You must be worried.

annsixty Fri 26-Oct-18 09:17:08

Good morning all.
An infrequent visitor these days.
Sorry to hear about your H Ffinnochio I hope things improve for you.
Marydoll you are so pragmatic about your health problems and your constant pain, I am full of admiration how you and how you carry on day after day.
It is cold and damp in Stockport, not going anywhere so it won't bother me.
Best wishes to the baby Brunette and to you all worrying about him.

Good Morning All , it has been raining here but it is brightening up now , not too cold yet , but I have been excavating the cupboard searching for gloves . Going out with my Sister later for lunch and a bit of retail therapy wink . I hope your wee DGS is soon home Brunette they give us so many scares but the wee ones are fighters

Good morning all, it's cloudy here in the south east, sun coming out later I gather, but the temperature has dropped. Food shopping today and then on for a swim later, I might even use the outdoor pool at my local gym, it's heated but ccccold on the coming out. I find it worth it though. I'm tired at the moment, restless night, sleeplessness is such a curse, do need something to wake me up.

Hope you all have a satisfactory day.

EllanVannin Fri 26-Oct-18 08:56:04

Good Morning All. Sky's looking a bit suspect right now and there was a flurry of hailstones earlier, a sure hint of what's to come. Surprisingly for me not a good night I was up and down like a fiddlers elbow so the cats were unsettled as well.
I send my thoughts to all and especially the " not so grand " ones. Hope that little baby shows improvement, they're stronger than we give them credit for.x

Have a good day everyone.

Alygran Fri 26-Oct-18 08:44:49

Good morning everyone. Lovely sunshine again here in North Yorkshire but a bit breezy.
Out for coffee with a friend this morning then picking up new specs and a warmer duvet later. Jazz club tonight.
Hope today is kind to you all.

ffinnochio Fri 26-Oct-18 08:44:26

Good morning to you all!
Another day at the hospital awaits. Mr, Finn still very poorly.

DoraMarr Fri 26-Oct-18 08:34:04

Good morning all. Slept really well in my own bed after my operation yesterday. The staff- all of them- were so caring. still feel a bit tired, so will take it easy today with just a slow saunter round the park. It’s a beautiful morning here in Birmingham, although I’m not sure how cold it is.

MawBroon Fri 26-Oct-18 08:31:39

Good morning all from a grey and rainy village in N Bucks.
Especially sympathy to Ginny on losing her lovely dog, it is just heartbreaking and I remember all too well that was a wreck after we said goodbye to lovely Gracie.

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. The sun is shining in a wall to wall blue sky in South Yorkshire - getting quite boring now. We could do with some rain.....
The plumber is coming today; perhaps, maybe. If there were no mysteries in life, it would be very dull. Have a good day, folks.

GrannyGravy13 Fri 26-Oct-18 08:21:10

Goodmorning all, have no idea what the weather in SE Essex is as I have not opened the blinds (bad nights sleep,,still not back in our room, camping in a spare bedroom which is on the front of house, different noises etc).

Feeling very tired after a days shopping in Lakeside yesterday, thought I would have a look at what the shops were offering this Ch******s!!! I can report back it is basically the same "tat" as last year, just in different packaging!!'

Brunette hope your GS is soon on the mend and back home.

Ginny sending you hugs, it is the downside of us having pets.

I can hear the builders have arrived, Husband is chatting to them, less chatting and more working please!!!!

Have got GC today, which will be a challenge, he loves watching the men work.

Wishing you all a fine Friday ☕️?

Pittcity Fri 26-Oct-18 08:15:53

Good morning from a grey skied Colchester. It's been a sunny half term so far but it couldn't last into the weekend.
Put the winter throws on the furniture yesterday and picking up the boots I ordered today....roll on Spring!
Big ((hugs)) to all who need it.

Willow10 Fri 26-Oct-18 07:44:30

Good morning all. Dry but cold in East Northants. Ten pin bowling with U3A this morning. So sad to hear about your little companion Ginny. I'm on the verge of adopting again after swearing I couldn't go through that again - but the love they give is so worth it. Best wishes Brunette, I hope you have some good news about your little grandchild today. All those who are worried, grieving or in pain - be kind to yourself.

ninathenana Fri 26-Oct-18 07:37:45

Good morning
from a very dull and overcast Kent.

I've been up since 3am., unusual for me. I have dozed on and off in the chair.
Have a good day kitty
Brunette wishing your little one a speedy recovery.
Marydoll what a saga it's all been. I sympathise and sincerely hope it's all perfect soon.

Blue45Sapphire Fri 26-Oct-18 07:37:00

Good morningall. Still dark and damp here in Northampton. Had a bit of a lie-in, so had both cats on the bed demanding their breakfast!

Expecting DGDs to arrive at 8 o'clock. Will take them into town for a bit of retail therapy and some lunch. They can have some of their pocket money to spend (I save a pound or so each week for them, and they only have some in the holidays).

Have a nice day everyone.

NannyJan53 Fri 26-Oct-18 07:34:03

Good Morning from a dark and damp Black Country.

I hope your little one recovers quickly Brunette it is so upsetting to see them poorly.

((hugs)) to you gillybob I remember that Friday feeling only too well.

Sad to hear the news about your dog ginny they do become part of the family.

We are off to Bristol for the weekend, to see partners daughter.

Gagagran Fri 26-Oct-18 07:23:17

Good Morning Mick, early birds and all who follow!

A busy weekend lined up for us and I shall shortly be in the kitchen preparing for the arrival of DS and family who are coming for the weekend. Looking forward to it but expect to be somewhat fatigued by Sunday evening!

Hope the day is a good one for us all. Sad news about your sweet dog ginny.

Marydoll Fri 26-Oct-18 07:22:32

Good morning all.
Brunette, I hope you get better news today and the wee one is on the mend. flowers.
Kate, thanks for asking, I have been up and about for hours, but at last, I have an appointment for the nerve conduction tests, Well I actually received a letter asking me to call the hospital to arrange the appointment, a phone call to my landline giving me an appointment, then a letter telling me I was being taken off the list, as I hadn't bothered to make an appointment as requested, and then another phone call to my mobile, giving me an appointment for a different day. No wonder the NHS is in such a state. sad.
The cooker went in last night, but now it is coming back out again, as they can't get the cooker hood in. grin. The gas fitter got trapped behind it and couldn't work out how to get out, without standing on my new worktops.?I'm going to spend the morning trying to set the clock! You Tube was no help.
Kitty, enjoy your day out.
Have a good day all.

gillybob Fri 26-Oct-18 07:21:57

Good morning everyone. Wishing my life away again, thank goodness it’s Friday.

Hope your baby grandson is okay Brunette . I remember my grandson (now 8) was taken into hospital with bronchitis at a similar age. So worrying for you.

kittylester Fri 26-Oct-18 07:15:35

Big (((hugs))), brunette. Please let us know how he gets on.

ginny Fri 26-Oct-18 07:15:11

Good morning. Pouring with rain here in N. Bucks.
Another bad night for sleeping. I have a cold and feeling down. Yesterday we said our last goodbye to our 16 year old dog, such a sweet natured girl.
Brunette hope your little one recovers quickly.
I’m going to have a ‘be kind to myself day.’
