Milk bottles.

I stopped having milk delivered when he started delivering at 9.30 - 10.00am, after I'd taken my DD to school and picked up some shopping on the way home. It was just as easy to pick it up myself and cheaper too.

Have never had milk delivered in anything other than glass bottles

I have my milk delivered (in glass bottles), but I do think it goes 'off' quicker than supermarket milk. Fortunately the milk is on the doorstep at 7am so always in time for breakfast.

Milk will be by back door which is north facing so no sun problems,
mostly farms round here so used to traffic at all times, inc horses, church bells, the big rookery, neighbours cockerels.
All so much better than our previous soundscape of delivery wagons reversing for deliveries, taxis hooting for fares to come out, boy racers, house and car alarms, drunks going home from pub........arguments and outdoor BBQ music from inconsiderate neighbours..

So look forward to clinking of early morning milk delivery, and if he/she whistles, so much the better!

I've been having my milk delivered in bottles for ages - with MilkandMore. I find it very convenient, although it is more expensive. One less thing to think of and lug home, and I can cancel or order extras (a lot apart from milk) up to 9pm the previous evening. It's all done online.

He always comes late at night, so no chance of milk going off in warmer weather.
A dd has recently started having hers delivered in bottles - organic full cream for her two very little ones.

I stopped having doorstep deliveries when the milkman started coming at 3.30 am, parking outside our open bedroom window and then WHISTLING as he clanked his way up our drive and those of lots of the neighbors

I have never stopped having doorstep delivery but it is far more expensive than the supermarket.
We do get glass bottles.

We did this last year but I had to cancel it a few months ago as the milk wasn't lasting - my son was here at Christmas and wouldn't give it to the GC as he said it was on the turn several times despite it being well within date.

No here unfortunately. The milkman has a round, but he still leaves plastic bottles.?
