We've still got some VHS tapes too which we haven't got round to converting to DVD
Plus some old cine film which DH took

Me too Chewbacca, I like my DVD player & don’t want to start streaming .
It’s similar to CDs we are encouraged to download to devices, but I like having the discs & covers especially for use in the car.
Defo getting old ????

Our DVD player bit the dust some years ago and we didn't replace it. We now subscribe to Amazon prime video on the TV. I don't miss the DVD p later very often, but I do have Field of Dreams on DVD that I would like to re-watch occasionally.

We've also got dozens of DVDs which we don't watch and hundreds of CD's we don't listen to. I'm sure there will still be a means of playing them for a while to come yet and then it will all come back round again, I bought my husband a record player last year to play the old vinyls we have although so far haven't used that either.

We have had our DVD player since 2006. Hardly used the blooming thing, so slow and clunky compared to a video recorder. Won’t mourn the loss of DVDs at all. (What goes round etc. They are selling LPs in the local supermarket. 16 quid a pop!?)

We put all our DVDs in a charity shop in the summer.

My Mac has no CD/DVD slot - quite annoying if I need to use one. They expect you to buy a DVD player separately to keep the lines sleek.

Streaming films is all well and good IF you have a good internet speed. If, like me, you live in a rural area that isn't the case. If a family member sends me a video online I can go away and make a cup of coffee whilst it is downloading!
