Oh Canarygirl I've only just caught up with this. You must all be devastated, and what an ordeal for the poor little boy. I hope you have better news tomorrow and that they can come up with a miracle XX

My heart goes out to you all. At my darkest hours in the course of Paws illnesses, the one thing that kept me going was my faith in the expertise of the highly qualified and experienced staff in the specialist hospitals. However bad things got - and they did - there was nothing they hadnt encountered or dealt with before so as God works through the caring hands of the doctors and nurses treating your DGS I hope and pray your worst fears will not be realised

many thanks for all your kind thoughts. Today has been just awful the news just seems to get worse and we are being told the chances are not good. They are a long way from us as he is in a specialist hospital and we will go up tomorrow for the weekend so will update on return. I have to say knowing how much many of you have to deal with that your kind words have toughed me beyond words so thank you again

Praying for you all.I think we feel things doubly as grandparents because we are deeply concerned about parents of the child as well as our grandchild.

What a terribly sad thing to happen to your little grandson - thinking of you and hoping he recovers well from this.
