A bridge too far ...?

I think its good that women don't have to be embarrassed about periods now. We were made to feel almost ashamed. However I still think young girls might find adverts embarrassing. They can be advertised in magazines. There is too much openness nowadays. Its gone over the top.
Lady tena adverts are shown much more than male.
The "I've just had an oops moment* ad should be banned. It gives the impression that a large percentage of young females have this problem. It doesnt even look nice. I hate it.

The lady who is embarrassed about prescription. The chemist shop will be so used to it they won't bat an eyelid.

Even to this day I could never discuss or hint at these functions with my husband or male doctors. Blimey - not even with your husband!!

That seems a very good reason for more openness about these matters. If you can't even write the word period on here, then something is amiss!! Not what we want for our children and GC.

My husband frequently shudders and says "you women have no shame" when a TV ad appears for pads/vaginal dryness/thrush etc. Men would much prefer to pretend intimate problems don't exist

this is the attitude we don't need. I would rather have too much openness than this. I love my stepdaughters attitude. She says things to her dad like"I wasnt able to go that day. I had my period and it was heavy." And why not!

Friends of mine at uni (all lads) had a box in their flat bathroom with pads and tampons in it and “use as necessary” written on the front.

Bless them and their thoughtfulness, that box was raided often by their many visitors!

I am middle of the road on this , I see no reason to either broadcast it or hide it.
The same with using the toilet, I have noticed that some people now wish to go into detail about that. To me unless you are ill then it’s a completely unnecessary subject.

I think we women should retain some decorum here. It's not classy to have your sanitary towels or panty-liners showing on the top of your shopping. And certainly not very sophisticated to be strolling around an office clutching a tampon! Get a grip, girls, and keep your privacy private!

Not in the least embarrassed about buying , carrying or discussing my Tena ladies. In fact , in the unlikely eve that I kick Mr C into touch, they will help me fly on a trip wire in a floaty dress to marry my next strikethrough ~victim~ I mean husband!

bagatelle not much call for those in B & D’s flat but I imagine they were probably in the bedroom!
