I went to a craft fair this afternoon. It was very busy and quite a few of the stallholders had put out refreshments for people to help themselves to. I was peckish and very tempted but every time I reached for a crisp I wondered how many hands had already rifled through the bowl and whether it was a bit like playing Russian roulette for the sake of a snack. There were lots of people both children and adults there and there are lots of colds and bugs flying around where we live so in the end I resisted and bought a fresh bag on the way home. I can't decide if I was being sensible or over the top not to grab a handful while I was there though
