Hello Mamissimo and yes, I know what you mean about feeling you'd get along well with some posters. I haven't met any but I have been messaged by a few and I am already very fond of them and tend to find myself nodding in agreement at their posts. If we met I know I'd like them. There are others who talk/write great posts, and even though we haven't met or written directly to each other, I think I'd have an affinity with them. There are only one or two so far that strike me as being a bit sour or not " projecting" the milk of human kindness.

Many of us so use the site have lots in common, not just grandchildren. It's a nice place.

There was a thread a few years ago where we all posted our pictures...

The only one I remember was jingl. She was the spitting image of my grammar school headmistress.

I remember Jingl's picture too, Maggiemaybe. She looked nothing like I had imagined. I never thought of her as an older woman although of course I knew that she was.

Oh Jalima! I hate being photographed so the only one I have of me was a publicity one taken at the publishers behest. I look like a simpering idiot in it. Be assured - I seldom simper. I expect you can guess that from my posts!
