Advice please. Looking at 80 next year it's time to think about the inevitable so I thought I would look at pre-paid funeral plans - what a minefield ! My mind is boggling. There are so many people offering these and the salesmen are so slick in their telephone conversations. I am not going to be forced into parting with any money unless I am absolutely sure of their credentials. I have information from the older established companies like AGE UK, Dignity, Golden Charter and lots from newer firms not covered by any of the funeral associations. Has anyone been through this, any pointers and if allowed by Gransnet, any recommendations ? Thank you in advance for any advice.
