Good morning Mick and all who follow.
A sunny day again here in Rome.☹️, I suppose we will just have to put up with it.?
We are off to the Vatican this morning, but my days of climbing the dome are long over! I will leave that to the younger members of the family.
I had a really successful day at the market yesterday. The hotel manager gave me a nylon holdall, whichfolds into the tiniest bag, a bit like a pac a mac. He said he knew I would need it for the market.
My best bargain was a pair of cream loafers with leather soles, which cost me all of four euros.My daughter was becoming very impatient with my rummaging for the best bargain ever, so I didn't inspect them properly. When we returned to the hotel, I took them out to admire them. They had NO heels.??? That will teach me to be so smug.
We have been going to this hotel for over twenty years. These are which were waiting for us in our room.The staff are so kind towards us.
I hope all who were feeling poorly yeasterday are improving.

It's a dull morning in North Leicestershire. Taking the kitten to the vets this morning and then a little pootling and faffing.

Not a lot planned today, giving other half a lift to train station shortly, then a walk into town this morning for bits and bobs, then this afternoon a walk with the 'Walking for Health' group.

Sunny here in S. Devon. Will visit another NT property today and weather permitting , spend a while sitting with a sea view.
Dinner booked at a very nice restaurant this evening wit a view of the harbour.

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. Dull but dry in South Yorkshire. Nothing much planned for today other than going out to buy my BiL a card for his eightieth birthday. Then we have to collect GS from school after football trials. We have not been to his new school since his mummy went there many years ago, so it may have to be a satnav job! Have a good day folks.

Good morning Mick, Annie, and all GN's . It's taking me ages to get going this morning, a lazy day ahead I think. DH is lunching with a group of friends, so I can do nothing quite happily. It is lovely and bright here, so the garden may beckon, if I can summon up the enthusiasm.
