Ahh but Sparkle you are wrong it hasn’t got me talking about Waitrose or John Lewis or even connecting them with the advert I have only spoken in my three posts (well four now) of my bemusement of the production which could be advertising absolutely anything it’s certainly not going to make me rush into any of their shops which I thought an advert was supposed to do
You ask What’s not to like? Well here goes the frantic, over the top, shooting, flying, upside down, lying down, standing up, playing instruments, singing, shooting stuff over the crowd
It’s so out of the world and so trippy that it could be advertising LSD or maybe some other hallucinating substance, I don’t know cos I ve never tried any of them
It’s not a real kids concert Sparkly it’s an acting production I m sure I would have enjoyed a real kids concert that wasn’t quite so obviously stage produced
But each to his own I expected to be on a back foot as things have to be bigger and better year on I think I like a simpler more subtle and meaningful message as opposed to this complete overload which felt like they were throwing everything at the public in desperation
It felt like Disney on speed
