Morning Mick and everyone

Very grey over Kent this morning but still mild.
Woke up feeling nauseous can't think why. Hoping the plain biscuit and tea will sort it. DS has PIP meeting today, I'm not holding my breath.

MawBroon Tue 04-Sept-18 06:38:41

Good morning Mick and all to come. Looks like a lovely morning in N Bucks.
Back from Granny duty in Birmingham yesterday and looking forward to seeing Mark Rylance in “Othello” at the Globe this afternoon!
Wishing you all a pleasant day!

MawBroon Tue 04-Sept-18 06:40:25

Nina- I hope congratulations are not in Order?
Seriously, hope the tea and biscuits works.
It’s not nerves is it? Worrying times. brew ?

Morning Mick, Nina and All. Cloud cover here too. Showers forecast. Wonder if the nausea is anxiety based nina. Hope it goes soon. Bit of retail therapy for me today, not much else. Hope Tuesday is kind to everyone.

cornergran Tue 04-Sept-18 06:41:49

Morning maw

travelsafar Tue 04-Sept-18 06:46:46

Off to work this morning, just coming too with a cuppa and slice of B/B with Marmite before i head to the shower then out the door. Going to pick up my sister this afternoon as she has a viewing on a property and wants me to 'hold her hand', bless her.

Gagagran Tue 04-Sept-18 06:56:59

Morning everyone!

Cloudy, dry and mild here on the south coast but the forecast is for more sunny spells later.

We had a busy day in the garden yesterday and intend to carry on today. DH will then go to the tip with all the arisings from our efforts.

Exciting news this morning - I've won £500 on premium bonds! Most I've ever had. It's usually an odd £25. Feel as if I'm on a lucky streak after winning the GM mini break on the Isle of Wight. I subscribe to the "rule of three" so something else nice must be coming my way! smile

ninathenana Tue 04-Sept-18 07:02:40

I'm no aware of feeling nervous, we've been here before and I'm of the "if he gets it all well and good" mind set.
Thanks for the good wishes.

kittylester Tue 04-Sept-18 07:08:41

Morning all from a greyish north Leicestershire. We also have rain in the forecast.

Hope all goes well nina - my DS was pleasantly surprised at how friendly and fair the person who interviewed him was.

Gaga, congratulations - buy lottery tickets?!

Enjoy the Globe maw.

Volunteering for me this afternoon and I really must change the bed too!

Ormond56 Tue 04-Sept-18 07:13:51

Morning all, my most exciting part of the day today will be to put away the food delivery I am expecting at 10?

aggie Tue 04-Sept-18 07:29:04

Morning all , looks like another lovely day in Galway . Idiot in the next room had shower at 6am ! Out to see marble demo ??? No clues to what that entails , the crystal demo yesterday was amazing

NannyJan53 Tue 04-Sept-18 07:32:37

Good morning all

Grey and drizzly here in the Black Country, after a lovely warm day yesterday.

Took 3 granddaughters swimming then lunch. We came back and DGD3 produces makeup and proceeds to give the other 2 a make over! Then an hours run to take DD3 back home to Lichfield. So shattered today.

Yes, Gagagran time to buy a lottery ticket! Hoping the nausea passes soon Nina and your DS's pip meeting goes well .

Today I have a Tap class this morning, then just a relaxing day. Have a good Tuesday everyone.

gillybob Tue 04-Sept-18 07:40:16

Good morning from a dull and damp NE coast. The children are back to school today so it’s the start of school runs then dashing to work .

Huge congratulations Gaga you should definitely get the lottery on !

Have a good Tuesday everyone . smile

NanKate Tue 04-Sept-18 07:45:53

Morning Mick and All.

Hope the nausea passes soon Nina. My go to products for sickness are a bottle of fizzy water, or a ginger beer or chewing an apple to make the pectin come out which can settle the stomach.

Maw have a great time at the theatre. I think Mark Rylance is tremendous as an actor.

Grey sky in South Bucks, don’t know the temp yet today.

Off to WI today.

Pittcity Tue 04-Sept-18 07:46:09

Good morning from a bright but cloudy Colchester. Minding DGS1 for last day of Summer hols. Will probably just slob around at home with a quick top up visit to the supermarket.

harrigran Tue 04-Sept-18 07:54:56

Good morning, ditto what * gilly* said regarding the weather.
Had a lovely day with friend yesterday, very nice lunch and then some pink champagne to celebrate her birthday. We used to meet up every week but childcare for her and my operations have prevented it lately.
Coffee with sister this afternoon, she will be wanting to show me her cruise photographs, I can hardly contain my excitement ?

Marydoll Tue 04-Sept-18 07:56:28

Good morning Mick all.
Lovely Autumn morning here in Glasgow, I don't really care as long as it stays dry. I've stripped the beds, so don't really want a mountain of clothes drying indoors..
Packing today for our holiday, new washing machine being delivered and hairdressers this afternoon.

Nina good luck with the PIP interview and I hope the nausea passes.
Enjoy your good fortune Gaga.

ginny Tue 04-Sept-18 08:07:23

Good morning. N. Bucks is a bit dull now.
Nothing much planned this morning. Taking DGS 1 home this afternoon and then packing for our trip to Brixham.

Anniebach Tue 04-Sept-18 08:23:30

Good morning Auntyflo and all x

Auntieflo Tue 04-Sept-18 08:25:34

Good morning Mick, Annie to come, and all those here and to follow. The sun is trying to peek through, so looks as though it may turn out lovely again. Remember those September days when we went back to school? Hospital, again, this morning, hope they have my results this time. Had a lovely day yesterday, coffee and lunch with a friend. Sat in her beautiful garden and could have stayed all day. It was so peaceful, and she is a great plantswoman. More envy. I shall be green at this rate.
Gagagran, definitely go for the lottery, DH hasn't checked his PB's, but not holding out much hope. Still, fingers crossed.
Have a lovely day, one and all.

Auntieflo Tue 04-Sept-18 08:26:18

Annie, you beat me to it while I was fumble fingering. ?

Anniebach Tue 04-Sept-18 08:43:36

Auntyflo, my good morning posts are sooo short ?, never going anywhere and don’t know what weather we have because am still in bed x

Nana3 Tue 04-Sept-18 08:45:27

Good morning Mick and everyone. Weather is dry in Lancashire, I have sheets to dry too so hoping it lasts.
Hope you feel better soon nina
Have a good day everyone.

annsixty Tue 04-Sept-18 09:00:27

Good morning all.
Dull here in Stockport but at least dry, my H seems settled in his respite care. My GD went to see him yesterday but he was fast asleep so she left as he wakes up confused and he wouldn't have known her.
I got quite excited this morning reading of Gagagran's win when I realised my recently bought pemium bonds were in their first draw, just £50 for me, but better than a slap in the face with a wetcloth as my M used to say.
Coffee out this morning then BG to fix the boiler this p.m.
I have had no hot water since Thursday, fortunately my shower is electric.
