Morning Mick, morning all!

It's a bit grey over north Leicestershire this morning. We are meeting DH's brother and Sil for lunch.

We bought a car yesterday - thank goodness!

Enjoy your days everyone!

Morning Mick, kitty and everyone

It looks fine and bright here on the south coast and I think we are due another spell of summer - but not as hot thankfully.

Glad you got your car kitty - one less thing to ponder over.

DH is off with the bike club this morning then to the football this afternoon. I am going to make an apple and blackberry pie. I've got a yearning for one!

Hope the day is a good one for us all.

Good morning from a misty Birmingham. Feeling rotten this morning. A heavy cold kept me up during the night- you know the scenario, coughing until your sides ache, bed littered with soggy Kleenex. I have to get up to collect my car from the garage this morning where it has been fitted with a new clutch. Feel as though I need a new clutch today.
I hope today is a good one for everyone, especially those with an event they are planning. There is a honey festival near me, so perhaps I need to go and get some, since honey is so good for colds.

Good morning Michael and all GNs. Shaping up to be a nice day in South Yorkshire. My son is coming for lunch today and I still haven’t decided what we’re having! He may get bread and dripping! If time allows I am going to the art show at the Botanical Gardens later and may drag DD along with me. A new car kitty - exciting! Sorry you are feeling rough, Dora. Honey, lemon and fresh ginger, and some of Gaga’s apple and blackberry pie! Have a good day, folks.

Good morning Mick and everyone. Our tv, only about 5 years old, has no picture and I've been told it's too expensive to repair and to buy a new one. So that's my job for today.
Hope you feel better soon DoraMarr,
Have a good day everyone.

Good morning all from sunny N Bucks.
I am going to a Golden Wedding (lunch ) party today and have been agonising over what to wear! As it is sunny, I think I will stick with the “summery” option, but when it turned cool and rainy last week I had second thoughts and sorted out a cool weather alternative!
Wishing you all a pleasant day!

Good morning Mick and all, it's a bit grey here in Glasgow.
I had a terrible nightmare last night, woke up this morning feeling really unsettled. It seemed so real.☹
I made plum jam yesterday and plum cake from a bag of plums kindly left at my front door.
I'm off behind our house to get brambles to make more jam. It was so overgrown with bramble bushes, I couldn't get near them the other day. I am now going armed with big gardening shears, I will show no mercy.
To Dora and all those feeling miserable, I hope you improve soon.
Panache hasn't been here the last few days, I hope she is alright.
Good news about the car, Kitty
That sounds a lovely way to spend your Saturday, Greyduster.
Enjoy your weekend, everyone.

Good morning all. I’m hoping for progression into having a sunny and warm day like yesterday. We’re having a lovely couple visit for a late alfresco 3 course lunch with lots of wine and soft drinks for the driver. What better way to spend time catching up with friends. sunshine

Elizabeth, sounds a lovely way to spend a Saturday. I'm envious. envy

Good morning Mick, Annie to come, and all here already.
It is our 57th wedding anniversary today, where did the time go?
Another sunny morning, crisp and the cars parked opposite have condensation on their windows.
After optician visit, I don't need new specs, good news, as I like the ones I've got.
Kittylester, well done on choosing a new car, was it a hard decision?
To all those under the weather, get well soon, and to all, have a lovely weekend.

Morning all.

Not up so early today as the DGSx2 went home last night. They said they had a lovely time and that they will miss us ?
It's a sunny morning so the beds are stripped and the washing on.

Good morning Auntyflo and all x

Think we have rain in Mid Wales, builders were going to lay a parking and turning area for my scooter, not if it’s raining.

Elder granddaughter drove up from Cornwall last night for weekend, haven’t seen her since June.

Congratulations Auntyflo have a lovely dayx

Everyone have a good day x
